Walking into Christina’s with Izzy behind the bar feels like coming home. She remembers your name, your drink, and somehow still makes time to check in with everyone. Just good vibes all around.

Also, try their wings, it's super yummy!

Izzy is the kind of bartender you dream about when you're having a bad day — the moment you walk into Christina’s Place and see her smile, everything shifts. Her energy is magnetic: calm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. She remembers your drink, your name, and somehow always knows when to chat or give you space. The way she runs the bar is nothing short of masterful — it’s not just service, it’s a whole vibe. Christina’s Place has that cozy, local magic, and Izzy is absolutely the heart of it. Come for the drinks, stay for Izzy’s incredible hospitality.

I love the vibe at Christina’s Place. It feels so homey and welcoming the moment you walk in. Izzy and Janet are amazing and make the experience even better. The karaoke nights are such a blast and bring everyone together. It’s just a great spot to hang out, relax, and have a good time. Definitely coming back!

Christina’s Place on N Kedzie has quickly become my favorite spot in the neighborhood, and a big part of that is because of Izzie. As someone new to town, walking into a bar for the first time can feel a bit intimidating, but Izzie made me feel welcome right away. She greeted me with a warm smile, took the time to chat, and made sure I felt comfortable.

The place itself has a relaxed and friendly vibe, with good drinks at reasonable prices. Whether you’re grabbing a beer or just hanging out, it’s the kind of bar where you can unwind after a long day. There’s a jukebox, a pool table, and plenty of regulars who seem to love the place just as much as I do.

But what really makes Christina’s Place special is people like Izzie. She’s not just great at what she does—she genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a good time. For anyone looking for a laid-back, welcoming spot in the area, this is it.

Guys, I love you all with all my heart and soul. Each member of the team has already become like family to me. But please, don’t overcharge me on the bill—I always try to leave a tip.
We've been keeping track over the past six visits, and every time, the bills have been higher than they should be. This is really disappointing. I could have made a mistake once, maybe even twice, but unfortunately, I’ve been overcharged for the sixth time now. That’s really sad 😞
If the tips are not enough, you can ask me directly—I’ll leave more. But please, don’t deceive me

Cute neighborhood bar! It’s small and cozy and the service is fantastic. Barb, the bartender, is so so sweet ? Nice, large screens to watch the game. Definitely going to miss it when I move

True Chicago neighborhood bar. They have some cheap Guinness. There's absolutely nothing fake about this place.

Serious pool table. Inside is well lit, secure. BYO Espanol encouraged but not required. Neighborhood spot, all kinds of people to make new friends with who are close enough to hang out.

Whoever is reading this review and this is only intended for guys to read. Be careful when you’re taking your wife or your girlfriend or a girl that you’re dating there because there are some guys there that like to hit on other peoples girls there and they’ll just come over and they’ll just try to get their number. Be careful because they like to lurk and pray on someone’s spouse girl that they’re dating for the first time so just be careful

I live in the area and heard good things about this bar from word of mouth. The main comment being that the bar has a cozy, neighborhood friendly vibe.

Soon as I walked in, I got this very awkwardly quiet, uncomfortable vibe. It felt like a scene in one of those western movies where an outsider walks into a bar, music cuts off and everyone turns and stares at them. I don't have a 3rd eye and I have all my limbs so I didn't get it lol.

I brushed off the stares and headed to the bar. The bartender (Latina, don't know her name) did tend to me almost immediately without a smile and a cold, unwelcoming demeanor. I started off with water because I walked nearly 2 miles to get there in blow dryer level heat & wind with every intention of ordering a drink after, but she never tended to me again and instead double and triple checked in with all of the other existing and new customers who came into the bar.

I really didn't like the energy from her and the room as soon as I stepped foot inside - then I noticed the $15 minimum for credit cards. I left without ordering and I won't be back.

1 extra star for the bomb water.

Such a good place to stop for a drink or two. Especially the Guinness, since it's the it beverage there.

Small as hell and the bouncers think they are Rambo. Much better options a block or two north.
