I came in the restaurant they have homeless people all in the lobby and the cashier is very rude and I wasnât treated like a loyal customer they made me didnât even want nothing and i waited in line 20 min.

I had 2 (9 piece) traditional wing combos. The pictures you see is the oil accumulated from both orders. Also, the corn was very slimy. It looks as though someone spit in it or something. I donât know if itâs because I had an issue with the cashier or what but yeah wonât get my business again. I donât even wanna go back to get a refund.

I recently visited this Churchâs Chicken and I must say it was nothing like what I expected. The place was filthyâtables were messy and out of place, and there was chicken on the floor. A very dirty homeless man came in smelling strongly of drugs and was insistently begging, which made the experience even more unpleasant. The place felt extremely unsafe. The only good thing was one cashier who was politeâthe only employee with manners. The food was awful: the fries tasted bad, were burnt and basically empty, the meat was dry and greasy, and the mashed potatoes were almost like water. I guess itâs due to the area itâs located in đ€ą. I wouldnât recommend this place to anyoneâbetter to drive a bit further and go somewhere with a better atmosphere, food, and staff. Stopped by Church's Texas Chicken on 59th & Ashland for lunch and spent about $14. Grabbed the 3PC Combo with spicy chicken, mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. Chicken was crispy and juicy, with just the right kick. Mashed potatoes were creamy, and that honey-butter biscuit? Pure heaven. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Definitely my go-to spot for comfort food.

I get take out from this location at least once a week sometimes more, but it seems like they're getting worse... I ordered the 10pc family special for $21.99 (10pcs chicken, 2 large sides, and 5 biscuits) and a couple sides (small gravy and 4 jalapeno bombers). I received an 8pc chicken, 4 biscuits and the small gravy wasn't even half filled. The box said 10pcs but there was only 8. It was a Thursday and they have a Thursday special (8pcs with 2 large mash and you can add 4 biscuits for $1.99 but that's not what I ordered!) I think who ever was doing my order for it mixed up with another order but still ain't right... I called several times but somebody kept hanging up the phone after the second or third ring. I'm very disappointed as I'm a regular there and not just for their Tuesday specials... They don't even have a/c in there and it's very hot. Some of the employees are very rude and the Manager is just as bad. This might be my last visit. It's sad because my family loves Church's.
