I usually enjoy this spot but today (September 11) something was off and made my experience at the Chicago location disappointing. The food was great but the service was awful. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Eventually, an employee came out, who I believe is new as I’ve never seen her before (then again I do only come on the weekends) but instead of greeting me, she just glanced up and disappeared without a word. I said hello, but she didn’t acknowledge me or...
My churros were very Afforable that's for sure! The taste was missing in some places and the aftertaste was very sour. I will try again because I think I got it on a bad night, so perfect inside and outside and the staff is very kind.
I don’t often go for churros, but I have to say these were super delicious. I also got a serving of Mexican chocolate gelato to go with it. The churro took about 10 minutes to come out since it was freshly made but it was crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Parking is relative easy down the street a little.
