Cozy. You fell like you're out with friends. The atmosphere is very relaxed; along with dinner tables, there is a couch, a television - at the right time you can watch / change channels, and a record player. I've seen several musicians perform there and they have all been great. As they play, they're probably five feet away from patrons. You feel their love for the music. The owner, Julie, is awesome, a social butterfly. She menu has dishes that are cooked...
This is one of West Loop's hidden gems that you have to check out. The venue seating is much more intimate, which is a huge relief from the other overcrowded and loud West Loop alternatives. Food is very consistent and staff and ownership are always friendly and accommodating. There is amazing live music on the weekends with some incredibly talented musicians and singers-it's pretty common for many musicians to pop in and you get to bask in a wonderful jazz ensemble....
Very cosy atmosphere - with limited seating. Enjoyed the live music and friendly owner checking in on us periodically. The service as well as the food and wines were very good.Note: CASH ONLY venue.
