It was an experience dining there. I ordered a few items, but the food was 50/50 for me. I ordered the black truffle mafaldine and if I’m honest, it was bland. Although their mozzarella sticks and rigatonis were good. Their service was decent, my waiter was missing throughout the day. They showed up maybe 2 times at my table.. to receive the order, to drop off my desert and the bill. It took me 15 mins to even place my order because my waiter wasn’t around and I was looking for them.
While I can’t say the service was great, they were friendly.

We had an amazing dinner at Ciccio Mio during our trip to Chicago. It’s in the Michelin guide, and it definitely lived up to it. We ordered the carbonara, the amatriciana, the mushroom carbonara, and some bread — everything was delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. We were seated at the front bar, and it was still a great experience.
Our waitress, Christina, was wonderful — very friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. We wanted to try dessert but we were so full… so that will be for next time. We’d definitely come back!

We came here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and they made it so special. In summary: the food was amazing, the staff were so kind and welcoming, the seating was intimate but comfortable, and the ambience was warm and inviting. I thought Gilt Bar next door was an extension to this place since they’re owned by the same people and have the exact same menu but, in comparison, Gilt Bar’s ambience and staff are so much worse.
The food: we ordered Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, the Ricotta Gnocchi, and the Mushroom Carbonara. I would say the Rigatoni was the best but all were delicious. If I had to choose one dish, I would choose the Rigatoni.
The drinks: their Espresso Martini is one of the strongest drinks I’ve ever had… almost to the point where it’s not as enjoyable?
The staff really make this place. They placed such a nice note on our table for our celebration and even gave us roses. The hostess was the sweetest person ever and our waiter was helpful and friendly.
10/10 would recommend this place for a cute date night. I would definitely recommend it here over Gilt Bar. Don’t be confused by the similar menus. These places are worlds apart.
I came here for my birthday dinner, from the service upon walking in to the service throughout the whole meal, it was incredible. I recommend the beef tartare as an appetizer, it's one you cannot miss when visiting here. The ambiance makes you feel like you time traveled to the coziest version of the 1900s. Staff are genuinely friendly and go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

This restaurant may be my new Italian favorite! Every dish we tried did not disappoint and it was absolutely delicious. I recommend coming with a small group only so you can order more items and share food. We had a vegetarian and a dairy free friend in our group - and they left very happy!
The atmosphere was cozy and the service staff was super friendly. We were also celebrating a birthday and they took care of our birthday girl! Cannot wait to go back, 5 stars all around!

Food was good but the service really stood out. Didn’t like my first drink and the waiter heavily insisted to take it back and get something I wanted. Went on our birthday and they left us a rose with a desert which really made it stand out.
This place is magical, the whole vibe is just right. The food is amazing, you can taste the coal fire on ribeye, it was unbelievably juicy as well. The truffle pasta can go toe to toe with the best from Italy. I celebrated my birthday there and they truly made it feel special.
