Opting for just the carne asada in a bowl, I anticipated a small variation in price considering my simple choice. To my surprise, I was charged the full price of a bowl, rounding up my total to $19.34.In moments like these, you hope for a gesture of recognition from the establishment—a nod to your regular patronage and a reflection on their pricing for what was a simpler dish. Sadly, this was not the case. The silence on their end over a price I thought could be adjusted left a small but noticeable dent in my experience. It's a delicate balance between business and customer satisfaction, and on this occasion, I felt the scales tip not in my favor.I cherish the flavors and moments I've enjoyed at Cilantro Taco Grill and will continue to support them for their quality offerings. However, I'm left pondering the value of loyalty and the importance of attentive service. I ordered the torta dinner for the night. I called and requested some grilled onions and my sour cream on the side. I had one small issue. I called to inform them and the problem was resolved without hesitation. Thank you Cilantro Grill. Did I forget to mention, the food is GREAT

This is my third time eating here. I’m a really picky eater and need my meat well done and they executed it every time. Not only is the food amazing, but the prices are super reasonable for a spot in the city! I ordered a quesadilla, steak tostada and chicken taco. My brother got the elote and said it’s better than the ones he had in Mexico. I also met the owner who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience.

I ordered 2 barbacoa tortas and an elotes cup. I was served rotten corn in a cup and the tortas did not have edible meat on them. Smelled like canned cat food, definitely canned meat WTH. The bread and ingredients all stale on Torta. Never again.

They have really good tacos and their carne asada fries are delicious. We usually order for delivery when we visit our friend who lives in Lincoln park. They are always so quick to make the food and deliver it. I haven't been to their location so I can't comment on that. But we do like the food and like that there are options for vegetarian/vegans too.
