I've been going there for over 50 years. The prices are crazy low, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is like a lunch counter from the 1950s. Fond memories and I made a special trip there when I was in Chicago last week.

It's not often you find a place like this anymore in Chicago. Helen is a wonderful Lady and it's really nice to walk into a time capsule and slow down from the outside world!

Can’t get much more Chicago than this. Chicago is blessed with many small neighborhood diners. From breakfast to lunch they have it all. Chef Helen is everyone’s favorite babcia (grandmother). Be sure to stop by and say hello! She’d be happy to see you.
