We reserved Cindy’s in advance. Showed up 8 minutes before reservation and were told we couldn’t be seated despite restaurant was empty. In the reservation, it was stated that we were celebrating my friend’s birthday yet no mention was ever made of this during our experience. Additionally, since it was a celebration we requested a table with a view but (despite restaurant being empty) we were seated by the bar which is farthest from the view. The service was good. The crab roll sandwich was tasty but not worthy of $28. My friend loved the protein bowl. It’s a beautiful location but I was disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement to our special event as well as the late seating in a less-desirable location despite being empty and reserving in advance.

I was initially deterred by the limited menu but I have never been more happy to be wrong. We had the oysters, charcuterie board, mozzarella, salmon, the baked potato, and espresso martinis and I can say without a doubt that this is one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Cannot recommend enough!!

Amazing views, The food was amazing. I had Lamb Ragu. I sat at the bar. Nico was friendly and a great bar tender. My second time to Chicago and a must when visiting Chicago. Beautiful bar and amazing staff who work as a team.

Food was mid and service was meh. I came in to have a drink and dinner before my flight. Entree took over an hour to come out so I had to cancel and head out. Service then brought me the wrong check. Wasted a lot of time and ruined the vibe. It didn’t seem that busy either and she was service other groups that came after me.Overall, inattentive and not the most accommodating.

In Chicago for the weekend for my birthday. My husband made a reservation for the two of us for Sunday brunch at 10:15. When we arrived there were only three other tables seated. We asked if we could possibly be seated near the window. Instead we were not even seated in the main dining room and not near a window at all. My husband then went to ask the three hostesses again if we could please be seated elsewhere closer to a view. They asked us to wait 10 min. then proceeded to seat others behind us in line by the window. Then finally seated us in the row behind the bar!! I wouldn’t normally be upset but we had an early reservation, there were 8 tables for 2 by the window that were open and they literally would not seat us there. We were not rude and felt the request was not out of line since the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived. Server was very nice, view was lovely, the food was pretty good but we were so upset to pay so much money and to be treated so badly!

The atmosphere at Cindys was great with a mixed crowd of people. The outside deck offers a beautiful view of the city and waterfront. The drinks cost the same as other bars in the areas who menus I looked at. Their cocktails were pretty strong, they weren’t stingy with the liquor.
You take the elevator in the lobby directly to Cindy's marked with an extra large button in the elevator. :)The bar is fantastic, the staff is super good and the view of Millenium Park and Chicago is worth seeing.
