I’ve been here for 45 minutes. Waitress took our drinks about 25 minutes in but hasn’t been seen since.

The food was very good. Finally a place that gives you the amount of food you are paying for. Great place inside but during the lunch hour it was a little loud for me but still enjoyed it. The Shirmp Pot boy was excellent. The shrimp were huge.

My second time here. I came back for the short rib tacos. I was a little annoyed when I asked the server if I could get a side of the short rib to go. He checked (and I don’t blame him at all), but came back saying they couldn’t do that.
To me, it’s just common sense. They could have simply charged me for the three tacos and put the short rib on the side. Instead, they missed out on another sale.
Makes me wonder how much money they’re missing out on, because whoever is making these decisions clearly doesn’t understand management or basic common sense and this is coming from someone who managed an upscale restaurants for over a decade..

I came here after work with some coworkers. We were a little surprised that it was so empty - I wonder if it was just the day we chose? (It was a Monday. Maybe more people get together downtown after work later in the week?) Anyway, we got two appetizers, a cheese curd nacho dish and the hummus. Both were solid bar fare, no complaints but also didn’t change my life. We each got 1-2 drinks and left spending around $20 each.

Nice experience taking a few colleagues for dinner. Great food and something for everyone. Friendly service and not too expensive.

Lunch service is always so fast. They are great and accommodating with making changes to burgers or salads. Bar ia normally wide open at lunch and very hip and appealing. I have had the tacos before, so good!

We made a reservation on Resy for 7:15 PM for a large party of 7. When we arrived we were denied entry saying they closed at 8. Absolutely ridiculous to accept a reservation and then not honor it.

The service was great. The waiter was very attentive.
We asked for a table outside next to the street. The tables have umbrellas to block the sun.
I ordered the jambalaya which was decent. You may need to add a little extra salt and pepper, but I ate it up regardless!
Loud, very poor service. Wide ranging menu of mediocre food that is overly salty, under-seasoned. Don’t waste your time here
It was a hot day, it was warm inside also.
The chicken tortilla soup was excellent!

City Social is down the street from my job so I loved to go there. Notice that I said “loved”, as in past-tense. The past couple times I’ve been here, it’s toooo hot indoors for me to be able to enjoy myself & my drink/food. The AC must be broken or something and they refuse to fix it! The only reason I continue to come back is because the servers and bartenders are PHENOMENAL!
I would say, i like this place. Good food, especially good portions, but a bit overpriced especially for appetizers and desserts ($15?!) BUT great summer spot, fantastic outdoor seating though limited. Sits right in shaded area so makes the heat bearable. Server was very sweet. Note it is a peak finance bro and sports destination which might be intimidating.
Bright and open. Good service. Food was okayyyyy.
We were interested to trying this place but didn’t even make it to the food. The restaurant had no air conditioning, and it was unbearably hot inside, sweaty, stuffy, and extremely uncomfortable.
We felt so bad for the staff, though they handled it very well and gave great service regardless. Truly what made the experience half decent… giving three stars just for that.
Unfortunately ended up having to close out before ordering any food, for a business that serves the public, especially during peak summer heat, not having a working AC is unacceptable.
A pleasant bunch of workers on a Saturday evening. Everyone was helpful, hospitable, kind, and honest. Thank you.
