Delicious tenders; well seasoned and JUICY unlike many tenders i’ver tried, simple yet satisfying french fries with some parmesean cheese so no salt needed. Quantities were good, sauces were delicious, menu is straight to the point. Want to try their sandwich next time. Def going back!

Stopped in on a Saturday night and it wasn’t busy. I ordered the Snack Pack 4 tender/fries with a sauce of choice.
I got the hot honey sauce and it comes on the side. The gentleman taking my order was very nice great customer service.
The inside of the restaurant was bit messy with wrappers on the floor and the bathroom was a bit messy and the toilet not clean.
The food was up quick which was great. These tenders WOOOOOW!!!! These are some of the best tenders I have ever eaten in my LIFE!! So juicy and moist AMAZING!!
The fries weren’t good very dry no salt and didn’t taste made fresh. Absolutely worth the trip ask for your fries fresh and I’m sure it will be 10/10.
Will take this over Chick Fil A any day.

My friends and I found this spot. The sit was a little long, but we were a big group. When the food came, it was delicious. Food was hot, seasoned well. Fries were decent. Portion were okay for the price. The service was incredible. Our cashier/waiter was so kind and patient and attentive to our needs.

Arrived around 2pm and ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich for take out. When I got to my office to eat my lunch I was about halfway done with my sandwich when I noticed a long black hair stuck in the breading of the chicken. I threw it away right away and felt sick after. Was really excited to try this place but I just felt like it was money wasted as I didn’t even get to enjoy or finish my meal.

To start, I think this establishment was a hit when it arrived to Chicago. Food was fresh, hot and service was always good. Boxcar Betty was a fave chain that didn’t survive in wicker park, but me & my homie instantly felt like this became our suitable replacement at first bite and it has been to date.
Unfortunately, my recent experience as of 9/13/25 @ 7pm matched the most recent comments of discontent. My fries were greasy and not all crispy and more fresh tasting as I previously recalled. They weren’t hot as I’d usually experienced. Even my sandwich was lukewarm (not hot) and fresh tasting as it used to be. Especially considering I ate in establishment. I don’t recall the tenders ever being of generous proportions, but mine were definitely smaller than i recall. I’m fine with smaller portions as long as the amount given make up for this and hopefully the chickens are ethically raised. Ownership must understand that we have many options in our big foodie city — filled with excellent alternatives. Hopefully they make it right, because it’d be unfortunate to see you all end like good ol’ Betty. The bevs are still tasty, tho. Just do the sensible thing of listening to the people circulating money into your biz if it matters to you as much as it does to those taking time to leave reviews, which is better than leaving you without a care as you may become another good thing that used to be…

We love the food and abeyance and love most Buffalo bleu Staff so friendly and respectful
I stopped by for the first time and tried the Buffalo Bleu tender sandwich. The chicken wasn’t overly seasoned (like Dave’s Hot Chicken) and I liked that. The sauce was yummmy and the cheese garnished fries were a bonus. Their house made lemonade was refreshing and a great balance of sweet and sour.

I ordered from Uber eats since this is near on the place that we had our summer picnic. Its for mostly the kids so I had it all plain. I was so disappointed to see it in person, these were not chicken tenders! These are bite size, look how small it is in comparison to my fingers. You can eat it in two bites. Nothing like photos advertised in their menu. Not worth the price at all. It said mega box but its nothing like it. Also, there were more fries, its so frustrating. Will not order here again

I ordered the 4 tenders Snack Pack, but instead I got 9 small overcooked, hard and tough chicken tenders. These were so hard to chew that I threw them out. I do not recommend.

I tried the Chicken Salad Sandwich today and it was sooo satisfying and fulfilling, perfect mix in between fresh salad and chicken!
I am not someone to leave reviews for places that often unless I have a very good reason to. And I will tell you that City Bird truly has been one of my favorite food places in Chicago to stop by! My go to is the chicken tenders and they are always delicious! Service is amazing, very nice staff and they went above and beyond to make sure that we were pleased with our food they provided.I definitely recommend that people come here and try their food!
