This Espressamente Illy coffee shop is located at the ground floor corner of the NBC Tower at Cityfront Plaza. Opening hours are 7am to 3pm daily (Mon - Fri), closed on weekends. They have a handful of seats inside and offer a typical coffee drink menu using Italian Illy brand along with a handful of food items. Stopped by this branch during a recent visit to Chicago and had a nice prepared macchiato with a good blend of milk, bit of foam and strong espresso. It was a good morning pick-me-up drink, one I'd be happy to return and order again. Baristas behind the counter were very friendly and welcoming as well.

This place is near my school and I go here most days for lunch. The burgers are a 9/10 or 10/10. The soup is pretty good and I haven't tried the salad. I wouldn't recommend getting the burger unless your lunch period is at least 30 minutes long. Otherwise I totally recommend this place.

Really nice place, always clean and friendly staff. I mainly go for breakfast and get my weekly omelette. It’s freshly made to order by the cook. Comfortable dining area with a slight view of the Chicago river.

Great small cafe located in the NBC tower building. I was expecting high prices and mediocre food but got the exact opposite.I was able to build my own omelette and have an omelette panini for just less than $5! What a STEAL.They have coffee, pastries, oatmeal, etc. Totally worth going to this place if you're around the area.

Only go here when I don't feel like going anywhere else. Cafe 360 on LaSalle is much much better with a better variety! I do enjoy some of the staff and the grill cook tries to be accommodating which I love! Some of the outside restaurants are okay but not all of them.
There is literally NOTHING here that's even worth one dollar! I have given this place several chances considering it's the ONLY place to eat in the entire NBC tower... Everything I have had here has been terrible. I even thought I couldn't go wrong with hard boiled eggs and I was wrong about that... I took my first bite to a horrible crunching sound of egg shells! DISGUSTING!!! This morning I got a coffee and was in line behind a woman that literally got ONE scoop of yogurt and it was $11.Now this place is TRYING to rip off people even more by weighing everything at a beyond unfair price, especially for the quality of food they are selling.NONE of my co-workers will step foot in that place! We all feel the same!!!
