Cute vibes! Good drinks, but definitely not a tiki bar (listed as that on Google).

I went on July 6th. As someone who is sober and has intentionally avoided alcohol my whole life, I ordered a mocktail with no ice and was clearly told it would be alcohol-free. What I received had a strong taste I’ve never had before. I asked my friend to try it to see if it contained alcohol and he believed it did. Shortly after drinking it, I experienced chest heaviness, tongue, lip & throat numbness, dizziness, and a lingering rancid aftertaste.
When I brought it up, the waiter insisted it had no alcohol, but the bartender later admitted she had added liquor because she misread the beverage and apologized. While they offered to make a new drink and didn’t charge for it, no one followed up or checked in, even after I mentioned feeling unwell.
I’ve never consumed alcohol before and didn’t realize I might be allergic until this happened. This wasn’t just a mistake, it was a serious health and safety issue that was handled with little care. Despite the fun atmosphere, I won’t be returning.

We checked out **Clever Coyote** in Chicago for happy hour, and overall it was an okay experience. Nothing really wowed us, but it’s not a bad spot if you’re already in the neighborhood.
We tried the **cheeseburger**, which was fine—nothing to complain about on the burger itself, but the fries it came with were kind of sad. It was literally just a small handful, which felt a little stingy.
The **pork tacos** were decent flavor-wise, but honestly, I’m not sure how 2 small tacos for \$9 is considered a happy hour “deal.” Felt a bit overpriced for what you get.
We also got **chicken wings**, which were pretty good—solid bar food, no complaints there.
The highlight was definitely the drinks. We tried the **Oaxacan on Broken Glass** and **Purple Rain**, both of which were really good—well-balanced and interesting flavors that made the trip worthwhile.
One thing to note: it’s **extremely loud inside**. It was tough to have any kind of conversation without shouting, so keep that in mind if you’re going with a group or for a date.
Overall, I’d call this an okay neighborhood bar to stop into, but the happy hour deals aren’t anything special and the food portions could use some work. Worth checking out if you’re nearby and want a good cocktail, but don’t expect anything too memorable.

Our producers love this place! The happy hour has delicious cocktails and a gorgeous view. Excellent spot to work and break for a round of games.
I didn't enjoy my drinks and the nachos were soggy. $9 each item for happy hour.
Bumpin spot for happy hour with lots of younger folks
The cocktails are really good and the happy hour prices make them some of the best in the city. I appreciate that it goes until 7pm for those of us who work a little later. With any good deal, there is a high volume so it was kind of difficult to get a second round.
I visited for the first time this weekend. I was impressed with the cozy atmosphere. The server was very patient and friendly. Their board games were such an adorable touch to the place. As for the food, it was delicious! Their drink menu is also super creative.
Games, Pool table and a great happy hour!

Cool spot to hang out, especially during Happy Hour with their $8 menu specials (even though it does add up!) Play games, hang out with friends and people watch. The burgers, wings and nachos are good. The drinks are good too (except the black, charcoal one). Had a great time here.

I'm not going to lie, the ambiance is a bit yuppie/fratty but I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the cocktails and the food despite the simple appearance. We had the Oaxacan on Broken, the Purple Rain, and the Toyko Sour. For food we did the cajun dry rub. 10 out of 10. All 10 out of 10. Drinks and food are $8 at happy hour, and I'll definitely be adding this one to my rotation. There is also The Up Room on the 14th floor that has a night atmosphere, and the view is incredible.

One of my favorite bars in wicker park! The drinks are amazing, especially the fish bowl. It’s so worth it! Plus they have the NES system and other games to play too
