This dive bar is a breath of fresh air in a world of overpriced, trendy spots. Here, the beer is cold, the conversation flows easily, and the atmosphere is pure, unadulterated dive bar. No fancy cocktails to be found, just a solid selection of beers, including the newly added Yuengling on tap, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay all night. They also offer a few liquors for basic mixed drinks or for those who like to drink their liquor neat.

Love the location of this place, just off the tollway, before traffic gets horrible. The location also allows for easy side street access to other areas in the city. The new GM is amazing and has some really good ideas on how to bring the bar into the here and now, while still keeping the local dive feeling. Pretty good drink selection, and I'm sure it will continue to expand.

Worked here for a month, my first day someone overdosed and the paramedics came. Week 2 an older lady said she wanted to hit me so we had to kick her out. Week 3 two girls came in with a fake hundred so I quit. You have no security, or help you are alone in a not so safe area. Also there’s not much business here and the parking is horrible.

This is the best LGBTQ etc bar in town y'all! We all need to flood this bar with our rainbow happiness and give BIG GAY JOHN, the owner, a great big kiss on the nose for opening such a wonderful establishment just for our community. We are welcome to be completely open, free, and in your face and I love it. Big John is the cutest bear I have ever seen. Go tell the Boyz it's time to play?️??❤️??️??️?

We came from Wisconsin/Minnesota for a concert in Chicago. Wanted to find a place that had a “small town bar” feel. We googled bars and it was the third option. It Should have been the first. My boyfriend and I, had such an amazing experience there. EVERYONE, from the bartender to the patrons, were amazing. We came to watch the Vikings play the bears. Even being on opposing teams, they treated us like friends and family. Anytime we ever go to Chicago, we will always make a point to stop there. Do not pass up this place.

First time here and this place was the perfect dive!! Great locals that welcomed new comers in, wonderful bar tender he was extremely friendly and attentative to our needs. Great little live band. Will be back!
