Fried chicken that actually tastes like Korean fried chicken in Chicago. Clean crust with no old oil scent. Bones are clean and white, which shows that it wasn't frozen. Light and non greasy chicken that doesn't leave you feeling dizzy and heavy after. This really paired perfectly with cold beer (frozen cups provided!). Tteok-bokki and fried dumplings tasted very authentic, and make sure you dip those dumplings in the tteok-bokki sauce. I recommend getting their main half+half fried chicken if it's your first time.

In this day and age I would not like to resort to things being about racism but me and my African American female friends were dining in and it was close to closing time. The waitress continuously came to our table trying to get us to leave. They close at 10:00pm and it was 10:02pm and we were standing up waiting for the last person to come out of the washroom and the waitress came to us again and said something. We were in disbelief because there was another table that were not African Americans and they were still sitting down eating and talking. We mentioned to her that she was only speaking to us and that there was another table still eating and she went to the table and told them “they are very mad because I asked them to leave…”. That was very unprofessional of her.

The chicken is fantastic. It's a bit pricey but you are getting a serving for multiple people or at least one day of leftovers and I've found it reheats well! May sounds strange but cheese monster is great and have really enjoyed the garlic soy. Havnt tried others yet! Also - props for actually knowing how to pack friend chicken and fries so that it transports well for to-go. Nothing worse than fries that get "steamed" by putting them in a closed container with no venting.

Got the honey garlic wings and tteokbokki. Both were a 5/5. The wings here aren’t your average sports bar wings. They are giant and sooo juicy. The honey garlic sauce was addictive and not overly sweet. I was a little skeptical to try the tteokbokki bc most of the time it tastes better homemade. It was surprisingly delicious - only wished they added some veggies to add crunch. The portion size was very generous too. They gave me a big cup of picked radish which was a bonus!
