Ordered a cake and some cupcakes from here. Everything was very good. The pastries were on the less-sweet side, which a lot of people seem to prefer. The cake was stunning. Everyone was very impressed. I like the large selection of flavors they had.I was surprised that when I got to the address to pick up, it sad just a house, and not a storefront. RESPONSE TIME IS TERRIBLE & they never responded. No one responded to me even after I called and messaged on Instagram. I called on a Saturday & they answered saying they received my inquiry & would be in touch with me Tuesday the latest. I was ghosted. Never heard from them on Instagram or received a call ever again. My event was 7 days from when they said they would call me so I assumed that they would be able to make it. This left me having to scramble for another custom cake designer & to be honest she did a better job! So if you’re looking for an amazing cake artist with delicious cake… instagram @iryna_pulkivShe answered with 2 hours as her Instagram promised and made both a beautiful gender reveal cake & cake pops!

When I decided 3 weeks before my wedding that I wanted a creative and beautiful cake to cut I started looking on Instagram for inspiration and local cake artists. I was so happy to find Coco and Eve! We used previous cake designs and combined them to create the gorgeous cake you see here. I loved it and it tasted amazing too! May May was easy to communicate with and I can’t thank her enough!

I’m still in awe of it.We chose Ube cake with coconut buttercream and earl gray cake with rose white chocolate mousse for our cake tiers and it was delectable! The desserts were my favorite part of our Chinese/Vietnamese family reception last year. The majority of our guests were older family members who don't usually like sweets, but everything was demolished at the end of the night. The mango panna cotta dessert cups were the crowd favorite (not too sweet!) and I wish I ordered more! I was so in love with our beautiful cake and still think about it fondly even a year later. The wedding cake flavors were earl grey cake with pistachio buttercream and lemon cake with black sesame buttercream. Thank you for helping to set up that night and making our celebration more special.

May truly went above and beyond in every way!! The cake was perfect and by far the best/most creative cake ever!! She worked in a fast turnaround period, made recommendations from her expert design perspective and arranged for it all to be delivered. She made the cake bigger so it fed many people although did not charge, and it was delicious!!I cannot sing this company’s praises enough!! Anyone in Chicago definitely needs to buy Coco & Eve cakes for all their special occasions. I know we will surely be back to Coco & Eve!!
