you can bring your dog in to order and leave but you are not allowed to sit inside. staff is kind. chocolate croissant later in the day was meh, coffee is average, decent. specialty coffees might be good for dessert lovers

Maybe I went on a bad day, but I had the coco berry matcha and it was 95% milk, 2% matcha and 3% syrup, which is not worth the price. The atmosphere and service was great, just the drink was bland.

Coffee, tea and croissant, we're not good. Had high expectations here and it was just bad overall. Tea had too much lemon in it as well, and the coffee was not really great almost tasted pistachioey. Croissant seemed cheaply made and it had two sticks of hard chocolate in it. Normally I don't post reviews but this one was worth it for $18 for a tea, croissant, and a coffee.

The espresso was dark, flat, and acidic. The iced coffee was decent but unremarkable. Calling this place a “Lab” feels misleading—there’s no sign of innovation, just a step backward. I don’t expect perfection, but with today’s prices, quality should at least meet modern standards. Consider how much restaurants have evolved in the past 15 years. I might give it another try if I’m in the area again.

To go coffee place, best coffee place I have found in Chicago with amazing coffee. You can tell their coffee beans have quality and the drinks are worth the price! Also the staff is always really welcoming and caring :)

Coffee Lab & Roasters is an excellent, dog-friendly neighborhood coffee shop with a wonderful staff and just as wonderful coffee. I am a latte drinker and they have the best lattes (hot or iced) and seasonal flavors that could go toe-to-toe with any coffee shop in the city.
This is a long overdue review - I've been coming here consistently for about a year and they hit the mark every single time. A good selection of pastries and coffee options, and they also carry some dairy free/gluten free pastries for anyone looking for that.
The wait is worth it on the weekends and the line moves quickly.

A tad bit overhyped in my opinion. I tried 2 of their seasonal lattes and they were very weak in flavor
Such a great little spot that I’m so glad to live so close to! Their matcha is some of my favorite in Chicago
