I stopped in with some friends on Saturday afternoon. The bartender (white guy with a beard) made everyone I was with so uncomfortable that we wonât be back. He made several really inappropriate jokes, was rude to my guy friends, and creeped out all my girlfriends. I was here once before and it felt like a really safe space for women and queers. This felt like the opposite of that. Disappointed. We wonât be back.

It was fine, the drinks were good and the service was good as well. The atmosphere is appealing but has this really weird artificial feeling to it, almost performative in some sense. Might age better with time

I donât even know where to start. This place rules.
Walked in and thought, âhuh, what is this?â Itâs like a bar and a weird little shop had a baby, and then that baby grew up to be really cool. You can buy basically everything inside, and I didâleft with a stone parrot from, I think, Panama?? It felt right.
The drinks are really good. I donât know what all was in mine but it tasted fancy and strong in a good way. Theyâve got stuff Iâve never heard of but it all just works. Even the soda water felt classy. Itâs that kind of place.
The people are awesome. Tall, friendly, funny, chill. Like, you sit down and end up talking to someone and next thing you know itâs been three hours and youâve somehow spent $90 and also made a new best friend. Or two.
The whole place is just cozy and full of random cool stuffâlike someoneâs basement, but the good kind. Not the creepy kind.
If youâre thinking about goingâjust go. Go now. Give them your money. They deserve it. Youâll probably end up leaving with a weird lamp or a ceramic pig or something and feel great about it.
One of the best bars Iâve been to in Chicago. And I donât say that lightly.

This place has a very dedicated, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. The signature cocktails are designed beautifully. I love watching childhood favorites (the bartender played Are you Afraid of the Dark) on tube TVs while sipping my favorite adult beverages.

One of my favorite bars in the neighborhood. Itâs a bit off the main strip but worth the extra few minute walk. The vibe is extremely fun with a Midwest midcentury styleâcozy yet stylish, and all of the decor is for sale! Great to find a hidden gem as a gift.
There is a set menu of drinks that has some really delicious and unique cocktails. The staff is great and inclusive, making everyone feel comfortable in the safe. The bar is very Queer-friendly, and the crowd is lively but not overwhelming. A great spot for a date or to hang with a small group of friends.

Bartenders are always wonderful and there's a thoughtful spread of drinks when it comes to cocktails, beers or wines (not a long list, but thoughtful)
