Great burger! $24 for a burger seems reasonable in this area, especially for a hotel restaurant.
I asked for medium rare and they delivered on the temp. The bun was soft and the fries crispy.
Good place to use your Hilton amex credits. Much better food wise than LH Rooftop at London House

This little spot tucked away in the lobby of The Drake Hotel was a highlight of our visit to the city. The staff was engaging and kind – special shoutout to Jimmy! The Gold Coast and the Cran Sparkle cocktails were stars of the specialty cocktail menu. We are definitely adding this place to our list for our next visit.

The food here is amazing, I had the 10 oz Manhattan steak, and the banana mussoline for dessert, service was great atmosphere is quiet and cozy. A little on the spendier side, which is to be expected for location and amazing taste. That did not stop me from enjoying my meal. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This is definitely a great place to be. There were a lot of people in the evening and they were having a lot of fun. The room itself was cozy and nice. The breakfast in the cafe was great. To be honest, I loved the place, it was full of energy.

I have been trying for 2 weeks to make a dinner reservation at Coq D’or. On your website it says Reserve a Table. It’s pointless. After waiting for Google Assistant, then talking to people on help lines and being sent to multiple different people, I understand there are no reservations. How has the beautiful Drake Hotel come to this! I’ve wasted hours trying to make a reservation.

Quaint and cozy. It’s a great spot for lunch and a fancy cocktail. I went with my daughter after wedding planning appointment! I had the Cran Sparkle cocktail, the Reuben and a cup of gelato. Our server Maggie was very nice and professional. It was nice and quiet and I was able to sketch up a little drawing. My only problem is that it was pricey.

We stopped in for lunch on a whim after walking around Chicago because we saw the poster in the elevator for the grilled cheese and soup. It was a cold and rainy day. We wanted to warm up and soup sounded delicious. We were very pleased that we did stop in! The Bavarian pretzel that we shared was AMAZING! We also ordered the bookbinder soup and heirloom tomato soup, which were really DELICIOUS as well, and shared the 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich. The server was attentive, and have great recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was great! It was 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and not busy in the restaurant. I definitely recommend this place!
So good to see this classic establishment open for lunch. I’ve been coming ever since I was a kid with my family. The service and ambiance never disappoint! If you are looking for a classic hidden gem this is your calling!
