My favorite french restaurant. And every one I bring here loves it. I went one on vday n it felt so cute cuz there’s so much cuteness and pink. The food is delicious. So different and much better than restaurant themed restaurants in west loop and downtown that are owned by the same rich investors that own all of them. I don’t expect people that like those restaurants to like these restaurants owned by these 2 brothers as much. These are the real deal like restaurants in Spain and France not faux ones. The prices are not too bad for the quality of food. I haven’t one dish that didn’t taste amazing in these restaurants. They had just changed the menu and it was amazing although i liked the old one but i know they can’t keep the same one forever. This time i was amazed with deserts too, they used to be too sweet for my taste but now they’re perfection. Thank you for making my day every time i chose to dine in the city and creating amazing food n ambiance. The staff is always extremely friendly and knows and even when short staffed they’re always very sweet n never pretentious

The stars don’t tell the whole story. The food was better than just a 4, but the service was friendly, but not attentive. So Service was 3.7 and food 4.3 :). I do hate it when they force you to order your mains with apps. I fully understand why they do this, but feel customer desires are most important. I did not fight it at all, but noted it.
Parking: They were between valet services, but the walk was not far from the street parking.

This meal was so amazing, I forgot to take any photos. Our server, M, was so attentive to our larger group, made great recommendations and even the chef came over to introduce themselves with a little digestif. Everything was so delicious, but a special callout to the 4-hour pomme puree, bouillabaisse provencale (sea bass), and the steak. Cocktails (brown butter espresso martini) and wine were also delicious.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Coquette. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server was helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back for another meal.

I had such an amazing experience at Coquette. Not only is the restaurant stunning, the service was incredible and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try a new place in Chicago. I had the streak frites and the cotton candy drink and it was delicious. The salmon appetizer was also amazing. I would highly recommend going for brunch!

Lovely evening with my mother. The staff was kind and the service was good. Also got a little special drink behind the bar which was fun... Now I must say this: my meal was nearly inedible. I consider myself the opposite of a picky eater & it's rare I have something I really dislike. I ordered a steak. The woodfired oven? Thing is a cool concept but my steak was somehow simultaneously cooked correctly in some parts & burned to a crisp. It all tasted like char & ash and the texture was awful. I also had a melon ham cold soup of some kind. I've never expirienced a taste like this in my life and never want to again. This pains me as the atmosphere, decoration & service had me expecting a great dinner... But the food was shockingly & I really emphasize shockingly not tasty. Dessert was okay.

It is meaningless to make a reservation. I was made to wait for more than 40 minutes, even with a reservation. So get prepared for the long wait!

The restaurant wrongfully charged me a $75.00 "no-show" fee, even though all guests (including myself) made it to the reservation. I reached out to the restaurant twice, over email, and never heard back. I then reached out over the phone approximately 15 times (and left countless voicemails), and when I finally got a hold of someone, I spoke to an individual who admitted I was wrongfully charged, and that they will contact the manager in order to provide a refund. While the individual was very helpful, I had to follow up about 6 times. Still no refund. Now I have to attempt to dispute this charge through my credit card. Please exercise caution before providing this establishment your credit card information, it's not worth the trouble.

Small and a bit cramped. Ladies, no place...including your tiny chair, to store your purse.Ordered the Dover Sole special of the evening. The Dover Sole was dry and salty. The creme was too thick and overly salty.Our appetizer never came but was kindly removed from our tab.Creme Brulee for dessert and again was thick and very stiff. Not soft and silky as expected.Interesting to note...they charge a credit card surcharge. In this day and age?!?

Avoid them. They rip you off!I tried this restaurant on Restaurant Week earlier this month. I used my credit card to pay for the food and drink, and gave a generous cash tip. After I had left the place, they totalled the credit card charges and added $30 to my credit card bill for no reason and without my permission. I have called 4 times to get this corrected and they take down all my information but they don't take any action. No call backs, no refunds, nothing! What a scam! We enjoyed the food and wine, but I will never go back because they stole money from me. Watch your pocket!
