Cor Coffee is a chill spot near UIC, perfect for grabbing a quality cup. The staff's friendly, and the vibe's relaxed. I had an iced lavender latte and a slice of banana bread. Total was about $10. Definitely a place I'll visit again.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem on the UIC campus, tucked away inside the Newman Center. The barristas are terrific, friendly and make great cappuccino. If ordering to consume on site some coffees and teas are sold in ceramic cups. The vibe is college coffee shop, students working on laptops. It's quiet, comfortable, cozy. There is an adjacent room with a ping pong table and a bookshelf of puzzles and games. I definitely will come here again.

I love Cor! Bit pricy (but fair for the city) and options can be limited in terms of flavors but everything I’ve tried has been tasty and well worth it. The staff are kind and it’s a great place to calm down/ study after class :)
