Disappointing breakfast. We were looking forward to breakfast here today. Ordered via the Kiosk (easy enough) but then us and other customers didn't seem to know how to get the cups for our coffees etc. My chocolate croissant was very disappointing, it was dry and a bit hard as if it was from the previous day, certainly not fresh. The egg and bacon croissant was adequate. The tables werent cleared either after people had left. Ordering would be easier with a real person to save confusion. All in all, we wouldn't go back.

The food was not bad but the service could definitely be improved. My order was very messed up and they forgot to give me several things I ordered including 2 bakery items which was on the receipt they taped to my bag. This would be more excusable if it was busy but it was basically empty.

I've been going to Corner Bakery for breakfast when I'm in Chicago for over 20 years. As usual, I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and filling. There were a bunch of options, and the food came pretty quickly. There were a couple of minor issues with the service, which is why I only gave it four stars. The tables weren't cleaned quickly, so I had to look around for a while to find a clean spot to sit. They didn't have the tea flavor I wanted. I didn't realize the croissant and brownie I ordered were both cold until I was ready to eat them. The server didn't ask if I wanted them warmed. They were quick to refill the jam basket after I pointed it out, though, so that was nice.

Not nice service at all— no wonder there was no line & only 2 people were there! The lemon tart I got was the worst I’ve ever bought from this company!! The tart was all saran wrapped like I don’t know how long it’s been sitting around just oxidating-Rotting Away!!!!!!! 😤😡 Stay Far away from this corner bakery if you can!!!!!!!

Pretty terrible experience - waited an hour for one breakfast wrap. Waited and asked for an update several times after reaching the 30 min mark and was told “we’ll check on it” and then continued to work and not ask about it. One cashier even proactively asked if I wanted her to check on my order when she saw me waiting - I said yes - and she proceeded to do other chores and never asked about the order. At the 1 hour mark, I finally see them go ask the cook about the order and they had lost the order/didn’t know about it. It only took 3 minutes to make the wrap from then.
Not a single apology for the wait when the order was finally brought out which is what really bothered me.

Let's start with the service, terrible, the cashier lady who is serving today, NOVEMBER 18, 2024, zero helpful, not empathetic at all, you ask her a question and she acts crazy, The food was zero good, I ordered this dish and it looked like chicken food, I also ordered a chocolate that looked nothing like water, the prices are not that bad, but zero recommended!

The "sandwich" is so poorly made you can't eat it without a fork and knife.
I bought a stack of 4 pancakes and a bottle orange juice at 255p and at 313p still no pancakes but as soon as I asked for you money back they bring the food I told them I can't eat it because my break was over

Not a great experience at all. We waited to order until the cashier was cleaning the counters. No smile or anything. Half of what we tried to order she said no they didn’t have (it was only 8am). Then when I went back and asked for ketchup and jam, the guy behind the counter told me there’s 4 out there and I had to go look around the cafe to find my own. No follow up on service. We had a fresh fruit bowl and it was all wilted pieces of fruit. Negative experience all around.

Very good cafeteria but the lady who served us, Cristina G., was very rude and unwilling to serve without explaining what we wanted to know and with a bad face. Otherwise, the breakfast was very good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

What can I say… I was waiting for an order for 1 hour because the guy couldn’t find me (do ask why - no idea). At the end I got a freezing cold porridge without any apologies. Also pretty dirty inside, no table cleaning. Do not recommend.
