There is a cardinal sin for a sandwich shop: not piling it on, in the honorable tradition of the Jewish deli.
If you are going to charge $14 for a roast beef sandwich... that is a fine price. But I just opened my sandwich and nearly felt a tear come into my eye when I saw there was ONLY 4 slices of roast beef on it.
It's funny, the reason I wanted a roast beef sandwich is because I had an excellent one at Boston Logan Airport on Tuesday. That sandwich has a solid inch of roast beef to bite through and cost me also $14. And that's airport prices.
Sadly, every other sandwich on the menu has the same problem.
It makes me really angry that I literally just finished the sandwich and I am sitting here hungry.

Food was fresh and delicious delicious!
Overall good breakfast place. The food was good. Building was clean. The touchscreen ordering is impersonal but becoming a norm. They were frantically packing a large catering order out in the dining room which was kinda weird. They were out of potatoes and a bit rude about it - they substituted fruit with no communication and when I pointed it out the response was just rude as if I was supposed to know they were out of potatoes when I ordered on a touchscreen.

I ordered at the self serve counter and paid. The older bold guy was super into his conversation with the lady making sandwiches. I waited a few minutes before he eventually wandered over to the coffee counter. He said are you waiting for something. (Well no… just thought I would stand here for fun…) I said yes a vanilla iced latte. He said iced latte. I said yes. Vanilla. He dumped it on the counter. He looked at me as if I should leave and I said… the maple pecan bar? He turned and took a wrapped item out of the fridge, handed it over. And said nothing more. After leaving I found he didn’t even give me the right bar but I was too far gone to return it. And they wonder why we don’t tip!
Definitely won’t be returning.

You order for yourself at a kiosk, all the tables had leftover food and dishes on them, and anything that could be, was self serve. On top of that, there was a bug in our fruit bowl which was disgusting and the sandwich I did have was fine, at best. Can't imagine why one would come here intentionally, let alone leave a tip.

$8.99 for a bowl of chicken noodle soup and doesn’t even come with bread. Huge ripoff go elsewhere for soup.

Ive never been to Corner Bakery (I know there are multiple locations), but the meal I had at the Washington and Wells was SO GOOD!
I had the Turkey on Croissant and it was so filling, especially at that price point ($7.99)
The staff was super friendly too. In dined in and watched them interact with customers and regulars.
Def coming back
Came here with my friend and we waited for almost a hour and a half. Went up the guy managing and he said they’d bring it out. Never did. We’ve been waiting a good hour and nothing. They were pretty rude and although it was cheap, wish they did something than walk away clueless. Don’t recommend unless it’s your last resort.
