The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend this place.

Delicious Polish food with amazing portion sizes and a friendly cook. We had meat dumplings, mushroom soup, potato pancakes, green beans, and goulash. Everything was tasty and fresh. We will be back!

Little husband and wife place, the husband takes care of the bar and the wife cooks the food homemade. If you are looking for homemade Polish food, come here. The pierogies are amazing and most definitely homemade :) Good service and friendly people. Inexpensive for the food you get, beer isn't over $5 and most food ranges from $8-12. Come, enjoy the food, stay for the beer and pool. If you don't feel comfortable eating at the bar, they have a back area where you can sit at tables. It is as good as homemade food can be :)
Reminds me what an old time tavern was and still is. Just a great South Side bar drinking brews and cheering in unison for the White Sox!
