This place is outstanding! We ate here a few times while visiting Chicago for college tours. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the chicken pot pie was absolutely amazing. Crepes, French toast, eggs, and other breakfast items were all great too. Also, the waitress who took care of us on most of our visits is a wonderful person. She could teach a class on how to treat people. Thank you all for the food and friendly service.

I could literally smell the chicken as I ate it they Served me raw chicken, when I explained to the waitress she then insisted on getting the chef for him to explain to me how he over cooked my meal at 180 temperature *guests request* She then began to argue with me how it was the most popular item on the menu (if it’s most POPULAR why is it not being properly cooked) I myself am a waitress and I will definitely not be returning with the service I received. As I was eating she also mentioned “oh you guys are very hungry” how RUDE!!!!! First time and will never return. I see why it’s so dead. Unless she was just racist. $70?!?! For raw food?!?! If I get sick tomorrow, consider your business shut down since “the owner will be informed”.
Small but cozy breakfast place. It gets busy during the weekend so make a reservation for bigger parties. Came with my family to celebrate my sisters birthday and had a wonderful experience. I had the corn beef hash and it was the best I've had. My family enjoyed their pancakes, and crab benedicts. The coffee and orange juice was fresh and delicious. The hosts and servers were so kind and attentive. They even brought a dessert for my sisters birthday. It was not expected but very appreciative. Thank you Cornerstone! We loved every minute of our dining experience and we will be back soon!

Went on a Saturday with my baby in a stroller. Checked in and said ‘table for 2 plus a stroller’. Was told 15 min wait. After 30 mins I checked in to ask how much longer, and was given extreme attitude by the man, asking what I’m going to do with the stroller… I wasn’t sure what he meant, since I mentioned it when I checked in. He said it’s a ‘special need, and they can’t accommodate it’. Never had a restaurant tell me I can’t have a stroller. So rude and unreasonable.
