Often crowded and loud because everyone loves this place. Staff is very busy but attentive. We've gone here for years because of the food.

Food is delicious!

The food was super bland, and service was mid. I definitely would have gave it zero stars if it were possible. They sat us under a leaking vent, the manager came by just to make sure we weren’t lying but then literally did nothing refused to move us yet kept seating new people coming in. The turned off the ac supposedly to stop the leak but then it got obviously hot and they turned it back on and it leaked. By then we had already gotten our food so leaving wasn’t an option, so we sat and ate while the vent leaked on us. My husband also wants me to put in this review that it was my idea to come here as he wanted to go to Golden Nugget.

Customer service was A+. Ordered veggie omelette, hash browns, corn beef hash, pancakes and eggs. They don’t skim.
Food came out hot and fresh. Place gets packed, suggest go early.
Avoid sitting at the end of the counter.
You will be disturbed by the loudness of one bus boy/(Man) emptying and tossing the dirty dishes in a bin.

Came in on a busy Sunday morning. Pretty much the only place with it's own parking which was great! Sat right down at the counter instead of waiting for a table. I ordered the Billy Goat omelet (spinach, bacon, sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese. With hash browns and pancakes. The staff was really busy, but didn't neglect us! Food came out timely and correct. Overall it was a FILLING breakfast. I didn't even eat lunch because breakfast was so filling. Gave me energy to tour Chicago. Great cafe!
