Food was subpar, ordered something simple and they messed up the order, come to find a hair in my foood. Absolutely disappointing.

I was excited to try this place based on the photos and reviews! We got 3 breakfast sandwiches and we were all really sad at the lack of flavor everything was made to order and hot but the bacon was skimpy so you couldn’t really taste it they use a small egg so it barely fit the sandwich and the rest of the sandwich is over powered by a plain airy bun with very little creamcheese, the whole thing was a disappointment. Totts were crisp and fresh but im sorry to say that they really need to revisit that recipe and if they are going to charge $2 for bacon at least add enough you can taste it.

Would be amazing if the potatoes inside my burrito would be cooked. They are always half cooked and ruins the breakfast

What a fun little spot! Restaurant layout/dining area is a little awkward - we only noticed this when a couple with a giant (expensive) stroller came in. Menu was ample! Lots of choices all with an interesting flair. Drink as well as food specials. My husband and I both ordered an Irish Espresso (see pic below). The beverage was cold (probably because there was like 8oz of whipped cream on top). It was strong and good...just cold. Maybe offer in a smaller mug?My husband had thr frittata (which was beautifully plated - he refused to let me take a picture of it because he was hungry). I had the chilaquiles - also delicious. Service was good. Everyone seemed very kind. Would definitely come here again!

Stumbled across this absolute gem. The food? Devine. The service? Impeccable. The atmosphere? Exceptional. Would recommend!

We came here as a walk-in for Sunday Brunch. We were sat down quickly. Hostess and server were kind. Menu was ok. Most of dishes are egg based. Atmosphere is very laid back diner meets mom and pop breakfast corner. Server took our order pretty quickly. Not a ton of veggie or vegan friendly option. Still use plastic straws. Food was good but super greasy. Vegetables were hard to come by. Service was friendly but certainly not overly lurking. Was generally pretty laid back and kid friendly. Good place to stop by in a pinch with a hungry kid.

The food is top tier. Phenomenal brunch. Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to decide on just one. The breakfast skillet (pictured) was excellent and the Irish coffee was solid as well. Our wait wasn't bad at all, though it took a bit to get the check. Overall great experience and would go

Not sure why this place isn’t completely packed; the food is amazing, I had the Tree Hugger grilled cheese and it was absolutely incredible. You can tell all of the food is house made. Our server was SO sweet. All around a wonderful place for brunch/lunch and I really recommend this be a place to try out!

I visited on a Saturday morning. It was not busy, so I got seated quickly. The waiter taking the orders was kind; the waiter bringing the food was not dressed in a way I would want someone handling my food, and she kept having to pull up her outfit. The coffees did not come to the table until after we were already eating and the waiter spilled it, she was not experienced at all. The cinnamon roll latte was not good, it tasted like a bunch of syrup and it was lukewarm. The coffee black was better than flavored.Ordered the smoked salmon on sour dour it had tomato and cream cheese and capers. If they left out the capers it would have been a little better it was so salty. I took them out myself but it could have used something else to make it more palatable. My friend ordered the biscuit benny and the eggs were perfect, the biscuit was dry. The hash browns were ok and didn't touch that chorizo dipping sauce, thought it was weird to blend meat. Also ordered the garlic tater tots with parmesan on top, the flavor is powerful, my friend and I could only eat a couple.Overall do not plan on going back. The decor was also clashing, the wall design with the inside hay and roaster decor. Couldn't figure out what they were going for.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible but will be a little tight getting in.

I've driven past Cracked on Milwaukee countless times, but it wasn't until one random Sunday morning that I finally ventured in. This little breakfast and brunch spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise.Breakfast food is like that reliable friend who's always there for you, and Cracked on Milwaukee takes that comfort seriously. I kicked off my day with four mimosas, and they were a delightful surprise – not just juice with a champagne tease, but a refreshing and slightly bubbly treat. Now, let's talk about the Cajun tots. I'd never tried them before, and they rocked my world. The seasoning was an explosion of flavor, a spicy revelation I wish I'd known about sooner. And those scrambled eggs? Simple but sublime. Fluffy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with my tots. But here's the secret sauce: Cracked on Milwaukee is super chill. It's the kind of place you stumble into if you've had a rough night and need to conquer that hangover. The vibe is laid-back, and the food is the perfect remedy for any morning-after shenanigans. In a nutshell, Cracked on Milwaukee isn't aiming for Michelin stars; it's aiming for your heart (and your belly). It's the kind of place that adds a twist of hangover-friendly comfort to your breakfast adventure. So, if you're looking for a relaxed spot with great food to cure what ails you after a night out, give Cracked on Milwaukee a shot. You'll leave with a satisfied appetite, ready to face the day

This is a cute, nicely decorated brunch spot on Wicker Park's Milwaukee Ave with good vibes; quick, friendly service; and the option for indoor or outdoor seating. The food was decent though not very memorable. I ordered the Vegasm Breakfast Sandwich. The bread was a little stale and not as soft as I would've preferred, but the inside tasted pretty fresh, filled generously with cheese, eggs, and veggies. My group also shared the Cajun Tater Tots, which was crispy and tasted pretty standard, though the cajun flavor wasn't very strong.Overall, the food is decent and the prices are fair. Their menu is diverse and creative, and the vibes are fun for an enjoyable brunch with friends. I'd be interested in coming back with friends in the future for a simple, solid brunch. -- Price (relative to peers): 4.2/5Food: 4.1/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall Value: 4.1/5

Food was OK. Very basic. Had to put more hot sauce on. Service was OK but one woman who worked there had a very offensive shirt on. I won't be back. There are much better breakfast places in the area.

Went there for breakfast recently, but in fact it was on my list for quite a long time. I was a fan of Cracked on Green near UIUC long before and was excited to try their new spot in Chicago! Compared to the one near UIUC, this one is larger, offers sit-down service, and most importantly they have a larger menu including those classics served in Cracked on Green. My friend ordered Dr Seuss burrito and I tried their biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were delicious. The burrito was healthy and hearty, having lots of fresh veggies inside. My biscuits and gravy was even more interesting: three fluffy biscuits topped with special chorizo gravy (my first time to have chorizo gravy!) and then two perfectly fried eggs. The special gravy way more flavor than traditional ones, and the chorizo inside went great with the biscuits. I also had tomato basil soup as my side. It tasted greater than that served in Cracked on Green. Besides, service was quick and price was reasonable (considering the huge portion size). Will definitely come back!

To start off the food was quite expensive, spent over $100+ for 5 sandwiches. I would think it would be worth the money but it wasn’t, food didn't look like shown on food menu via uber eats. Also had to go pick up my own bag that they left behind because they didn’t give both bags to the uber driver, the restaurant was at fault. Needs to do better.
