The whole place is now closed, the inside is all taken apart, pretty sad they did not inform their regular and do not update their website accordingly. Google maps already says closed but happy cow still says open, which is not the case (sadly, was a great vegan and gf crepe, better than any burger will ever be).

The food was excellent! Four stars only bc happy cow will not let me give them fives stars to a non-fully Vegan place. These are real crepes made by people who know traditional crepes and grew up with them! They have a full Vegan menu and are happy to support vegans. I had a savory dish there and took a sweet one home with me! Don't forget to ask for the vegan chocolate drizzle! They have the most adorable affirmation cards - they really brightened my and my husbands day! Also, the "Twist" is that the crepes have a Bulgarian flare!

Full vegan menu prominently displayed of sweet and savory crepes or make your own. Very clear whats vegan and lots of choices. This is the only place I've been that has crepes that taste just like regular ones. Definitely going to make it a habit to stop here any time we're in Chicago. This time, I got the crepe twist (fig jam cashews and "cheese") and wife got the berry one (strawberry jam, blueberries, etc.) We went in the morning both times and street parking was easy to find right out front.

I thought this was a cute little place perfect for a coffee stop! I had a cappuccino with a nutella strawberry crepe, the coffee was served in the cutest mug with a beautiful spoon and the crepe was fantastic to calm down my sweet craving, definitely stop by if you’re in Lincoln Park!

This place is a wonderful hidden gem in the city, and offers a genuine look into not only a small business, but a restaurant clearly in relation to European culture and society. The people at Crepe Twist have found the exact perfect mix of American and European and it is reflected in their menu, environment, and overall experience. I ordered a Nutella crepe with strawberries ans bananas, and it is so delicious. My Sunday is going perfectly due to a whim to detour into this restaurant. Please go, you continue regret a minute of it. I cannot wait to go back!! ?

This is my favorite cafe spot. I wish I could come every day. It is always very clean. They are very friendly. Have tons of options. Peaceful environment. I love the affirmations they have in a jar. You get to choose one and open it up. Sorta like a fortune cookie (without the cookie). The plating is impressive and largely why I come. They care about the customer experience from beginning to end. They want you to feel at home. Great quality, local business that should be supported.

I’ve been here about a dozen times and let me tell you this place is my favorite to get crepes. I am big fan of savory crepes and they make them so delicious here. Crape Twist is very aesthetic and has a laid-back chill vibe. The owner is Bulgarian and only recently opened this shop but has done such an amazing job with creating a beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant but also using high quality ingredients in the food. Absolutely love this place and would highly recommend it if you want to get the “best crepes in town.”
