I have never eaten here before. I had the Lechón and it was so good! The flavors were excellent both in the sandwich and rice and beans. We did takeout for a work lunch, and I’m definitely coming here again.

Went in today and upon ordering the cashier seemed angry/annoyed. I love coffee from here but I was very reluctant on ordering more because her attitude was very distasteful. She gave me and my family attitude, huffing and puffing as we were ordering our coffee. We all felt unwelcome. Although we love the coffee we ordered, I wouldn’t recommend going in if you are looking for nice hospitality and welcoming energy. I wish I could go in and not have to feel like I’m a bother to the cashier.

Finally found a spot in the southside of Chicago that had my taste buds wanting more!!! It tastes like our homemade meals!!!! No more drives up North, a place I grew up to find the foods I love to eat! It was def better than El Cubanito up north and Señor pan. Drinks are amazingly creative. And their side sauces, it’s a must try them all!!! If you haven’t gone just give it a try!!!

Amazing food and even better service. I had the Cubanito Express sandwich and my wife got the lechona jibarito. We had 3 empanadas as appetizers (guava, ropa vieja and chicken). They were so good we decided to buy my mother in law some. Without a doubt I will be coming back again. (Food was so good we forgot to take pictures 😅)

I’ve tried a lot of food but this by far is one of the best experiences when it comes to Cuban and Puerto Rican food..not to mention the hostess and owner was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience
