Good food good price. Don't plan on a dine in experience because this is takeout only. Even though there are tables it was clear they didn't want you to stay. I understand they don't have public restrooms which prohibits that. So plan accordingly

Wonderful Tacos 🌮, great taste. I’m from Mississippi and trying different places around town. Got one steak, one chicken and one ground beef, with red salsa and the green salsa. Red is a little spicier than the green, but not too spicy. Green salsa was also very good tastewill recommend the tacos. I will be back.

First time here and definitely won't be the last time. We had the gangster and the chi burgers and they did not miss‼️ so filling, so delicious, so worth it. We will be back 😊

The food tasted good to me. This would have been a solid 4, but my burger was undercooked. I asked for medium well, but this burger came closer to rare than medium well. I tried cooking it some at home, but ended up throwing out about half the burger. We also got Greek fries and two other meals, which were good. This would have been a 4 if the burger wasn't so undercooked.

Phenomenal burger. Seared to perfection. Assembled by a professional. Best burger around the area. I was super impressed. 4 and 8oz options for those who like more or less. All of the ingredients are top notch. When I see their food truck again I’m following it!

Had the pleasure of trying Culinary Gangster out at the Lake County Fair this past weekend and it was SO good! We had their chi town burger and the loaded fries. They were so friendly and pretty quick with the food. I’m glad we got to try them out!

We just had dinner with Culinary Gangster as they brought their food truck to our local brewery. My jaw immediately hit the floor thanks what is possibly the most delicious burger I've ever had in my entire life. Bravo. We'll be visiting the home location soon.

We have tried Culinary Gangster a few times now and each time has been excellent! We have a business right down the street so it's very convenient to order our group lunches from them. The atmosphere really is a non-issue because I think they do most of their business as take out or catering. There's a few tables available to sit if you do want to eat there though. I ordered online and my order was ready as promised. I had the chicken taquitos which were so yummy! The verde sauce is nice and spicy! I also got the raspberry spinach salad which was great, everything is so fresh. My husband had the skirt steak tacos - he said they are the best around. It's hard to find good Mexican food. If you live/work in/around Glenview, try this place out. It's a hidden gem in a strip mall off of Waukegan Rd. Will definitely be back soon!

Took my Son and his friends this past weekend and they LOVED IT!! They are picky eaters BUT said the food was delicious and want to come back. I had the signature gangster burger - awesome! They had a burger, chicken sandwich, and Korean BBQ chicken. We also got the gangster fries and popcorn cauliflower. Everything was wonderful. Not a big space inside to each just 4 tables. But i will be back for takeout. Take advantage of the lunchtime special - Burger, fries, and drink for a good price!

After seeing a video on Facebook for Culinary Gangster highlighting their Birria hamburger I stopped in the very same day to try them out for myself.
The restaurant is small with very limited seating with a shared parking lot that really isnt that large either considering its shared with other stores. I'd recommend either phoning in an order or placing one online.
The young man working the counter was very pleasant when I was picking up my order.
I ordered the aforementioned Birria Cheeseburger and Popcorn Cauliflower appetizer because that also looked amazing.
Usually, Its pretty unlikely for a dish to look as awesome in person as they do in a video. But with the bright colors of the Popcorn Cauliflower, it looked eye appealing to the max. They were coated in an orange colored mild chili sauce and topped with scallions and red onions. As for the flavor, it was nice at first but after a few pieces it kind of got old with me. The texture was a soft sort of firm (as they should have been) and remained that way up to the last piece.
The burger was massive, it felt like it weighed about 2 pounds and I had to cut it in half to eat it. The burger was also very messy and sloppy even before I used the dip. As for taste, I felt it tasted kind of like a pulled pork with a different seasoning, the burger patty itself was good, but not great. The bun I feel was the standout here, it absorbed all the sauce and grease and stayed in form without getting soggy and falling apart.
The bulk of my review here is for the burger. I'm no expert in Birria. So this sandwich was a total experiment for me. It looked mouthwatering in the video enough for me to go out and try it. I guess the birria flavor just isn't my thing. The burger was respectable enough to try one prepared a different way should I return. But my score of 3 stars largely just reflects my opinion on the taste of the burger I had today. Which means it's okay, and thats accurate.

The menu offers so much and absolutely everything we have tried has been great.

A great add to the area the Gangster Burger was good and a needed add to the NorthShore.
Friendly and very nice service, engaging and polite.
Definitely far superior to any of the other options in the area which primarily are the fast food chains...js
