Eva and the bar tender are phenomenal!
I love cupitol! I come here weekly to eat and work. The staff is always so nice and the food is so good I’ve tried a lot and never had a bad thing. My favorites are the pancakes and the matcha. I will keep coming here every week as long as they’ll have me :)
This is a walk up to order, and take your number with you to a table kind of place. Food was good, my iced chai latte was on the sweet side but still good. My partner got one of the juices and it was very healthy tasting, likely no added sugar just veggies and fruit. We sat on the little patio because the weather was nice.
Their smallest location, but one of my favorites (Tied with Streeterville, of course)! Love going in the early afternoon to get work done, or sitting outside during the summertime and grabbing a breakfast sandwich to start my day!
I do not know what happened to this place but it has fallen off hard. It was my go to for coffee for a while but the lately its been more like dirty water and less like coffee.
The croissants are still pretty fire but the rest of the menu has taken a dip as well. I am not sure if they changed their suppliers but I am so disappointed. Moving on to somewhere else. :(
Got the avocado toast, pistachio croissant and caramel latte. The avocado toast was decent and the latte was good but was already pretty sweet after requesting half sweet. The pistachio croissant was TERRIBLE. I do not appreciate the use of synthetic colors making the layers bright green but adding no flavor. The filling which is supposed to be rich pistachio paste was simply tasting like condensed milk with barely any pistachio flavor. I would advise avoiding the pistachio croissant.
I walk in and a Hispanic female doesn't even look my way she talking to a police about what he does after work ignoring me thankfully there was a young man working who assisted me I would never shop in a place who can't greet customers and continues to ignore people especially when she ain't talking about nothing
The iced Nutella late is a must all the time every time.
The best coffee I ever try and the blueberry scone it was delicious
Highly recommend Cupitol for a quick bite, great cup of coffee, or a relaxing breakfast or lunch.
Right next to Ogilvie & the French Market, the location is perfect for commuters & tourists. The shop also seems to have a number of regulars from the local community, and is dog friendly.
The cafe is bright & uncluttered with neutral tones, oak tables with heavy black pedestals, and large 8 foot windows to both the street and the bakery. About a dozen 2-tops are spread throughout the cafe with community seating for 12 at a gorgeous oak table.
The counter staff was pleasant & made great recommendations. My food arrived quickly and was fresh and perfectly prepared. The Mid-western omelette had just the right balance of sharp cheddar and fresh off the bone ham, and the eggs were fluffy.
I definitely have a new favorite cafe when I'm in town for work!
