DP Dough currently has a ghost kitchen named Mac man on the Grubhub app, and after looking at the reviews of the actual food, they cook there's no difference here with the mac & cheese that they have in their ghost Mac man Company. It was terrible. Cheesy tots were horrible. Didn't even want to eat it instead I made it frozen mac & cheese meal that tasted way better what a shame. What a shame. Smh

I just realized that there's a DP Dough in town! I hadn't seen one of these since I was in college over a decade ago. RIP Madison location! My wife also spoke highly of the Buffalo chicken zone she used to order at OU in Athens. For old times sake we decided to give it a go. The prices were reasonable and the food was still pretty decent. It's a carry out operation so you're not going to be sitting down, but that's alright. I'd much rather scarf down this greasy masterpiece in the comfort and privacy of my own home. The orders were done quickly and the cashiers were nice enough. If I ever get that late night craving I'd probably stop in again.

Ordered my calzone at 4:30pm and it’s now 6:10pm and the food still has not delivered. I called 2 times to check on the status and Sam sent me to the front where I sat on hold for 10+ mins. I called a 3rd time and reached the front and they told me the manager could give an update and sent me to wait on hold again. I called a 4th time and Sam answered again. I asked if I could speak to a manager and not get transferred to wait again. He claimed it was rush hour and to call back in 10 mins. I told him I had already waited on hold for 40 mins to talk to someone who could give me an idea when I would get my food. Finally frustrated I told Sam never mind and I would just never order from there again. I understand it may be a busy time but clearly there is some mismanagement happening as I’m still waiting 1hr 40 mins for food and no one is able to give me an update.

This was absolutely awful!!! I do understand quality diminishes with delivery but ive NEVER EXPERIENCED ANY DELIVERED CALZONE THIS BAD. The calzones were small, the bread was undercooked & ingredients were missing that i had paid for/add ons/ requested! The bread was bland, really bland!! The bread was super chewy & not crunchy at all. The order arrived in about 40mins and was at best room temperature when it got here. The calzones werent even wrapped in tin foil to keep them warm & when i opened the boxes they were cut in half already! You know by cutting them in half the heat, moisture, escapes & the ingredients will dry out, thats exactly what i got! I got 2 barely warm, chewy dough, missing ingredients ICONICALLY UNDERWHELMING calzones. The cheese appeared discolored & was pretty much in clumps & wasnt fresh what so ever. Lets talk about the tots! Just when you figured the meal couldnt get worse the SEASONED TOTs were a total dumpster fire. They appeared to have been baked, kept under a heat lamp, no seasoning what so ever & were staie. This was like eating left over tots from last nights meal that i heated up in the microwave BUT WORSE! The prices are an exceptional ripoff considering the portion size as well. WONT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. If McDonalds or Walmart were to make Calzones, this would be the quality. Whoever the owner is should be ashamed to deliver a product this bad!

First time ordering from D.P. Dough, we ordered the Roni Zoni with Mushrooms, the Macalo (buffalo, fried chicken, Mac and cheese), cheesy bread and the hot wings. Everything had a good flavor, I would just say the calzones could have had more filling. The Roni Zoni in particular was light on filling. Highly recommend getting your calzon with the garlic parm topping! We'll definitely be coming back to try more calzones!

After a concert for New Year's my friend and I were looking for anything to eat and found that this place was still open for New Year's. When we arrived I saw that the man behind the counter was rushing and seemed to be dealing with a lot of orders, so I was a little worried it might be a long wait. But he was incredibly patient and helped me with my dietary restrictions, and we didn't wait very long at all, especially for a busy New Years in the middle of the night.The calzones were actually really good, too. My friend and I were just hoping for any food but were pleasantly surprised with the quality. I'd honestly come back whenever I'm in the area because that apple pie dessert calzone sounds heavenly.

Ordered some cheesy breadsticks and chocolate chip cookies from this establishment and golly where they good. now I expected something mediocre, but boy was I wrong. The breadsticks were cooked to a nice crisp with the appropriate amount of cheese scattered in the right places. Let me get to the showstopper a.k.a. the chocolate chip cookie. I’ve had quite a few chocolate chip cookies in my time in Chicago. somewhere from bakeries somewhere from stores, but this must’ve been one of the best cookies I’ve had in a long time. It came wrapped in tinfoil and was the perfect temperature with the perfect amount of gooey. it was also much bigger than I expected, which is a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend their chocolate chip cookie.

I’ve tried this place several times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Almost every order I’ve place is incorrect. They don’t meet the time quoted on the phone, and this is for pick up orders, even when the establishment is dead…so their is no excuse for 15 minute waits. They forget extra sauces that you pay for…no attention to any detail. I wanted to support this place because I loved them in other locations and was very excited when I heard they were coming to Chicago. Poorly run restaurant which makes the brand itself suffer. Please avoid this place, go to the Subway next door.

Third time ordering and the worst experience i've had. Ordered on the app and missed a call from the store. Called back and was told the driver was too busy and they cancelled my order. Reordered and waited 30 minutes past my delivery time in case the driver was still busy only to call and learn my order was again cancelled, this time with no phone call or notification. You get points for good food because i've had it before but the service tonight was terrible.
