My family and I and a couple of friends ate at D’s Roti & Trini cuisine for the very first time yesterday. Must say that we enjoyed every bite of food that we had. We even bought food to go. The owners were both very friendly and made us feel like we were back in Trinidad. Thank you so much to D and her husband, it was a pleasure meeting you both!
Oh man, I don’t always find the best Trini food, but this place delivers everytime. The flavor is all there, the texture, it’s just so delicious! Curry Lamb Paratha SHOT! Sorrel was legit! Glad to see my people here representing ❤️🇹🇹
I first heard about this restaurant last year from the Black Foodies. I finally got in my car and headed to 79th. Dawn and her husband greeted me with a warm welcome. She patiently explained what certain dishes were when I told her that this was my first time trying Trinidadian food. I ended up ordering a Curry Chicken Dhalpuri and Chicken Pelau.
