Disclosure: I drove 4 hours before I opened the food so I will not post pictures as they would not do justice to how delicious it was and how much better it would have looked fresh.

My wife has been obsessed with this restaurant after seeing how they responded to bad reviews by printing them on the to-go bags! I was on my way back to Wisconsin from Indianapolis and placed an order while in traffic, iykyk.

Order was being bagged when I got there 1 minute before the estimated time! I asked if I could have some extra napkins or something to help keep it fresh for the ride home and she happily repackaged the order in separate insulated bags and said it would be super hot but it would be as fresh as possible so my wife got the best experience she could!

That alone was worth 10 stars for me. This location is pickup only so you wouldn’t expect much atmosphere… the outside is amazing and the pickup area is also well decorated!

When I finally got home we opened the bags and found the famously adorable packaging, my wife was so happy and it warmed my heart so much.

Even after the long drive the food was warm, delightfully spicy and absolutely delicious! This will be a regular stop when we are in Chicago!

Thank you so much for making my wife so happy to see me after a trip 😁

I recently ordered takeout, and while the packaging was impressive with the Panda logo and professional presentation, the food didn’t fully meet my expectations. It might have been due to the delivery time, but the fried chicken, which I expected to be crispy and flavorful, arrived a bit cold and was unfortunately dry and tough to chew. Some of the other dishes were over-seasoned, masking the natural taste of the meat with too much sauce. However, I did enjoy the beef in spicy soup with white rice. The flavors blended well and reminded me of the authentic taste I had in China. Overall, it’s worth trying if you’re looking for something different, but there’s room for improvement, especially with certain dishes.

I actually ordered on Uber Eats. But the packaging is so cool they get 5 stairs for atmosphere.
I had Zhong Dumplings which were probably the best dumplings I've had. The chili oil was sweet and spicy and I dumped what was left on some rice and ate that too. No idea if that's the authentic thing to do, but it was really good.
I also had a vegetable Hot Pot. It's wonderful. I asked for extra spicy and that was perfect. It had some great lotus root in it.

Ordered take out a couple times. Definitely the most over packaging restaurant I have ever been. And the most incomprehensible menu I have ever read(in Chinese). If the food are great this might be a nice plus. But when the food were not good, it makes me feel maybe better put more efforts into the food itself instead of other stuff. Ordered spicy chicken leg one time and it was not fresh. And the house special spare ribs I ordered this time was so over marinaded and it was so salty and can taste nothing but the spice. Then it woke me up in the middle of night because upset stomach, which made me felt like the strong spice was just for covering up the not fresh meat.

The amount of rice is too small. This restaurant has the least amount of rice a la carte in Chicago...

Very delicious. I don't like spicy and their dishes look like death. But it's very flavorful. I enjoy all their dishes very fresh N tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It's unique and different.

We recently ordered from the website instead of DoorDash, and our order was 40 minutes late. Employees tried to say that the food was already delivered, but then claimed the delivery guy had too many orders. The language barrier was an issue. I’d recommend using DoorDash or some app in order for this restaurant to have accountability. I almost cancelled the order by the time the food was delivered.Food is always fresh and tastes great. But service is an issue.

Vegetarian options: Veggie hot pot is really good, has a good variety of vegetables.

It tastes good, quite authentic Sichuan cuisine. But only four glutinous rice cakes were given for a nine-dollar dish? This is outrageous.

The restaurant doesn’t offer dine in now.

The hand-shredded rabbit is not only expensive but also small in quantity. It tastes average and most importantly, it’s not fresh! It’s not fresh!

AMAZING! I got super craving for spicy soup dumplings cuz my friend sent me a pic of this from Chengdu at night (b*tch that was a long night) . So I ordered from Damaojia immediately when I work up this morning, since they re one of the most authentic Szechuan restaurants I know in Chicago. No disappointed at all! This is the flavor I ve been craving! Happy!!! Hi

As an ABC, this is probably my favorite chinese restaurant in bridgeport at the moment. Food is very authentic and tasty. Definitely on the expensive side. I absolutely love and always get the pig feet. The noodle soup is pretty good. I also love their desserts! The dou fu hua (pictured) is one of the best tasting chinese desserts I've had. Two things I wish were different, and then this would be 5 stars: 1) The packaging is cute, but non-microwaveable and not re-usable. I wish they would transition to environmentally friendly packaging. 2) There has not been dine in to my knowledge for a couple years now. I've wanted to bring family/friends here for ages now, and would love to be able to walk over as we live in the neighborhood. Also, I will note, do not eat here if you have a peanut allergy. Even the non-peanut dishes have traces of peanut according to my allergic significant other.
