This place is a cozy spot that puts a fresh spin on seasonal ingredients. The pasta dishes are especially well done, but the whole menu feels creative and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff makes the experience even better. It’s a great choice for a relaxed dinner that still feels special.

Amazing vibe. Staff was friendly and explained the menu to us in depth. Incredible food - especially the roast chicken which took an hour for preparation but totally worth it! Strongly recommend. The desserts were finished in no time - Nothing like it! Crisp on the outside, and we could tell they were just out of the oven.
Ravioli and gnocchi were one of the best I've had. A bit pricey but overall, amazing experience. Stronglu recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience dining here. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They consistently made sure our table was tidy, provided fresh silverware and plates for each course, and truly elevated the whole experience.
My personal favorite was the Agnolotti pasta. It was unique, flavorful, and unforgettable. From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to come back.

Made in House is the best summary of daises. From the soda’s to the chips to the pasta itself. Everything is made fresh and unique which gives the classic foods a new flavor.

It's a warm and inviting restaurant that highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients. Their house-made pastas stand out, and the flavors feel thoughtful and well-balanced. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, making it a great place for a relaxed dinner or special night out. Service is attentive without being rushed, which makes the whole experience even better.

Daisies completely exceeded my expectations. The pasta was the star of the night — incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of vibrant, balanced flavors. You can really tell how much care goes into every detail; it felt elevated yet comforting at the same time. Honestly, this was the best pasta I’ve had in Chicago, hands down.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting without being too formal, making it a great spot for both a casual night out and a special occasion. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall experience. If you’re a pasta lover, Daisies is a must-visit — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try everything on the menu.

We ordered the green salad, shishito peppers, papperdelle with mushroom ragu, the lamb pasta dish, and some ice cream/sorbet. The salad was good and the shisito peppers were very average. The papperdelle was above average and the lamb pasta dish was slightly below average. Melon sorbet was very good and roasted vanilla ice cream was good. Overall an underwhelming experience. Portion sizes are huge. We could have ordered two or three dishes between the two of us instead of four. What really annoyed me though was the automatic inclusion of a 25% service fee. I mean I would have thought 20% was presumptuous but it was even higher than that. The tipping culture in the US is just getting so out of control.... just pay your employees a living wage and increase your prices accordingly (although I already thought the prices were high for the experience). The 25% service fee really left a bad taste in my mouth so I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. Not worth it.
A bit loud and not the coziest venue.
Everything else is perfect and could probably not reasonably be improved upon with infinite time and effort.
Absolutely delightful.

We’ve been to Daisies once before for restaurant week, but our experience last night was even better (if possible)! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, unique, and fresh for the summer season. Our server, Chris, was fantastic and laughed with us the whole night. We appreciated him putting up with our outgoing group! Ended the night with dessert (get the sourdough waffle and the PB cookie dough brownie gelato). Can’t say enough great things about Daisies - put it on your list!

I had an amazing dinner at Daisies! Everything—from the food to the service to the ambiance—was spot on. Our server recommended the potted carrots, and the presentation was just as incredible as the flavor. We also tried the French onion dip with caviar and the cavatelli, all of which were outstanding. The staff was extra attentive and everything felt clean and well cared for. Such a great experience—I can’t wait to come back!

Might be the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. In season Peach Pie was a barn burner, raspberry pretzel pudding was a combination of tart, sweet, and pretzel perfection. And the peanut butter brownie gelato might be the the most deliciously indulgent ice cream EVER.
The homemade ruffles and onion dip was utter perfection and the pasta dishes were lights out. The Paperdelle, the Stracci, and the Rigatoni were cooked to perfection…absolutely NO NOTES.
This is a spot worth visiting again and again. Well done.

kinda overrated. went with a friend that was in from out of town — this one has been on my list for a while and finally got around to it.
after an initial kind of annoying reservation process (+ the mandatory $15 pp hold) — which, by the way the restaurant was pretty empty the entire time we were there so kinda random why it was so difficult to get a resy for an early dinner on a Thursday. 🤷🏻♂️
anyway, server was fine though a non-stop avalanche of menu explanation. a little exhausting up front.
unsure what people mean by “family style” these days — but anything can be family style i guess if what you mean is sharing plates. the portions were definitely not particularly what one thinks of when someone says “family style”. the guy recommended something like 6-8 plates for the three of us which seems a little intense (especially given the pricing).
food was pretty good but nothing incredible. ordered:
THE Overpriced Tomato: the name is accurate. overpriced. but fairly tasty. no idea where the bone marrow was, but i guess it was somewhere in the bread.
fritto misto: this was fine
gnocchi: was good
stracci: was decent
ravioli: was probably the best one of the lot. i enjoyed the corn in it.
the cocktails were decent (i enjoyed the savory “Martinification”).
LOL at the included 25% service fee (whatever happened to 20%??) — ok…?
overall so-so for the price point and general experience.
