Just GO IN AND ORDER,, THE HAVE NO PHONE ETIQUETTE ,, and HARD OF HEARING..

it’s been 7 years since this review.

And RECENTLY I’ve had the pleasure of patronizing with this long time eatery - a community favorite might I add. Their Etiquette has IMPROVED TREMENDOUSLY.
Food Never disappoints

Worst service ever.. Never again will we come back... No greetings when we walked in to be seated. Smh we had to sit ourselves. The waitress is just as rude that's so called the manager. How are you the manager and you never came back to the table and to talk back in front of the guests when we she sees us asking for a manager and find out she's your manager Hilarious at it's finest because I never met a manager that's so unprofessional and disrespectful. Not only that.. the cup we received first was dirty and the food that we received they gave us the wrong skillet.. Sounds like New Management with Training that's clearly needed

Our waitress had an attitude the whole time from start of the ordering. The meatloaf we ordered looked overcooked & dried out . The food wasnt even hot, it was warm

I had biscuits and gravy hash browns salmon patties. so for what reason they decided not to make the traditional gravy that goes with biscuits and gravy idk if the didn't know how or they just decided to put a black people spin on the dish whatever the gravy and the biscuits were good independently not together it gave smothered pork chop gravy. the salmon patties had egg shells in them and were tasteless the hash browns where is expected recognizably consistent not impressed won't be returning.i like the atmosphere. Like that it was blk owned however the men were very standoffish not gracious or courteous at all . the women were polite and pleasant

Food is good , service is good but I’m honestly tired of paying their credit card fees , no other restaurant does this except the ones in the urban areas, now food prices went up ok I get it but I don’t want to keep paying their credit card fee.

I ordered an egg and turkey sausage breakfast sandwich. It was so good but the services was unorganized. My food had been ready but they had too much going on and did not realize that my food was done and in their faces the whole time. FOOD WAS GOOD ASL THOUGH, so i’m not that mad.

I ordered the t-bone, medium rare, and over easy eggs with hash browns.
Also a cheddar and bacon burger with fries.
The t-bone is not edible... it's chewy and rubbery...as if it was cooked too much, but it has the correct amount of pink you'd expect for medium rare.
I got exhausted just trying to cut through the steak and never tried to taste it.
The hash browns were not seasoned.
The eggs were not seasoned.
The burger was ok, bacon was crisp, but the lettuce they used was brown and wilted, so I tossed that out.
Fries were not seasoned.
This is my first at this place, but there's no reason to try it again.
I mean... if they can't be bothered to salt and pepper their food, I can't be bothered to give them my money.
