Talk about the hidden gem of Chicago. These Michelin star worthy tacos were to die for. Something about a public washroom and a fire taco joint just go together like peanut butter and jelly. This place rules!
I had a layover and decided to try Woodgrain Pizzeria, I was indecisive at first and let the staff know I may be back. I strolled back through a bit later and the Victor promptly recognized me from before. The pizza was good but the customer service is what sets this place apart. I came today for the pre-Super Bowl Brunch. Absolutely loved it! The Chicken and Waffles were amazing. Chef Daniel came to visit us personally. Probably one of the best brunches I have had in the city.
