So happy Danke is still here after the rebranding from Revival to Sterling. The sandwiches are incredible and the quality you’d expect from Table, Donkey and Stick’s little sister restaurant. Highly recommend the Inglorious Batard and Burrata Pistachio.

amazing food and such friendly folks!
House-made baguette, pickles, charcuterie. Fun wines selected by a decorated sommelier. This is the best place in the loop for elevated sandwich fare — whether on a lunch break, 5pm wine hour, dinner, or takeout picnic for a concert in the park. Fills a hole left by Pastoral. Quality ingredients, people, and vibes.

If you’ve been sleeping on Danke, wake up! Such great sandwiches and the roasted tomato soup is perfect. Definitely my go to lunch spot when in the Loop. Also, wonderful happy hour wines post-work. The owners and staff are great people too!

Whenever I have guests in town, I love to bring them to Danke. Karen and team are fantastic and make such good sandwiches. Inglorious Batard and Secret sandwich are my favorites. I just wish they sold honey butter again.

One of my top five sandwich places. And they have Dr. Brown’s soda!

Don’t sleep on Danke! Perfectly crusty, chewy, hand crafted sourdough, perfect array of charcuterie & cheeses, perfectly satisfying salads and incredibly kind team to boot! Pull up a countertop seat and enjoy a glass of “weird” wine with your order.

Tried it for the first time today, Prosciutto sandwich, the problem that there is nothing bad about it but also there is nothing good, it needs at least 3 times the filling to start tasting anything! You just eat plain bread, zero taste of anything else!! I am sure no one from Danke tried this sandwich before offering it to people, if I knew I would have taken a photo to see how it really looks like!

My only complaint was the food, everything else was very nice, especially the workers. The bread was so tough to chew..

Danke is a solid option within the Revival Food Hall with so many other choices. I got the Inglorious Batard and the Roasted Tomato Soup, which had a nice little spicy tang to it! The Inglorious Batard was a nice twist on the classic French Jambon-Beurre with a pickle added to it. Nice whipped butter and a delicious ham on a solid baguette, was really happy with my choice! The revival food hall is great and has a wonderful vibe with so many options! Overall a wonderful later night meal right before the food hall closed.

Mediocre bratwurst, tomato soup is about average. Staff and atmosphere are excellent. Sour dough bun was falling apart, sauerkraut seemed to be American style versus German or Austrian. Not sure why anyone would put pickles on a bratwurst.Mainly just tasted like cheap meat and grease.

Ham and cheese. Extremely greasy and wasn’t so tasty. Also, who adds pickles to grilled cheese? Even after requesting NONE I got EXTRA. Not at all what I wanted or expected.

Danke is a solid lunch/dinner option. Prices are actually reasonable, service fantastic, and food delicious! They make most of their ingredients in-house, including the bread. Highly recommend the Secret Sandwich!
