My family has never had a meal from Dan's that wasn't delicious, well presented and hearty. It's been a go-to for our family after church on Sundays for good soul food for years!

Not real soul food. It's more like Chicago version of what they think soul food is. If you from the south then you will notice a big difference in how they cook. No flavor. Gritty dressing. Gravy has no flavor. Deep fried salmon patties are tasteless and hard. It's not skillet cooked. The cornbread is not even edible. I was so disappointed that I spent $15 on this food. I felt like I got scammed. They have one price online and another price when you go inside....

The food was good. We went here because it stated it had dine in place. When we got there, it was closed, and you could only order to carry out they stated the dining area was closed due to COVID. Forced take out!
