Dao Thai Restaurant and Noodle Palace

I came here for lunch on a Friday in August. This place is reasonably priced and not far from Michigan Ave. so it has become a go-to place for me when I am in Streeterville. I usually get the rice stick noodle soup with tofu and broccoli. I omit the bean sprouts. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I also appreciate the old school decor, it makes it feel like an experience. I can also recommend Dao Thai for solo diners and those who need to eat gluten-free. I will definitely be back.

The food I ordered was Mussaman Curry which was good. Other friend ordered Tempura but for her the fried-sweet potatoes too greasy. It took longer for the ordered to come.

We stumbled onto this restaurant when searching for lunch our last day in Chicago and it was a wonderful experience! The service was quick, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I had the green curry which was perfectly spicy and flavorful, my partner had the hot & spicy chicken. And the portions were generous for a reasonable price.

We are on vacation and stopped in for lunch. We are a family 6 we all ordered a dish and each dish was very good. Wonderful flavors the ginger stir fry was very good with some spicy. The service was very good. Everybody was very tentative and took care of us very well.

Incredibly underrated restaurant. If you like thick Indian curry, you'll love the Spicy Panang curry. It's got a lot of flavor, and good portions. Service is great too.

Wow! This was an UNEXPECTED quiet local find for a friday night! It wasn't packed, just off the beaten path. The food was amazing! It has a variety of seating avaiable. Very friendly staff. And delicious food all around.

This is our regular thai place, we come every so often. The sauces are not too sweet, they use more spices then sugar. Which me and my partner appreciate, they do give decent amount of food. Service is usually pretty good, but we have had obviously new people a few times. I have a wild toddler that the restaurant does wonderfully.
