just left this bar. bouncer charged 20$ for entry. when i entered, there were a total of 5 other people in the bar. mostly older men. the music was good but it was so empty. if i would’ve been able to see that the bar was near empty and not a Saturday vibe, i would have went to plenty of other bars in the area that are popular and a good vibe. save your money, avoid the cover, and go to a better bar…there are plenty in the area.

Security guards that worked yesterday on 7/15/2024 are broke and money hungry. Had on sandals and they said it was against the dress code but if I gave them 20$ I could get in ! Why would I pay 20$ to get inside of a free bar! Not only did they want me to pay but me paying 20$ for certain shoes was not apart of the policy . If you see the guy with the dreadlocs and a shorter guy with a haircut working security just leave . Scammers make going out no fun

Came here with a large group to celebrate my birthday. Maalik really took care of us. He made sure the bartender knew it was my birthday and she did a great job of keeping our shots coming all night. We enjoyed the music and everyone had a great time. Looking forward to coming back.

I found out about Deadbolt in 2023, and have had two of my birthday celebrations plus other birthdays/sections there with Chantal! She’s the best bottle girl I have come across in Chicago! She’s so sweet and attentive! She checks on me and my friends throughout the night! The recent section I got she decorated for me! Whenever someone asks me about deadbolt I give them her information to get the BEST SERVICE!!
First time I went here was about 6 months ago it was packedddd music and vibes were on point. So this past weekend we booked a table for my sisters bday. Chantal was our bottle girl and she’s amazing! Her energy and vibe was great, she checked up and made sure we were good throughout the night!

I’ve been here a handful of times, and Chantel is my reason why! Some nightlife venues can have a staff that’s indifferent, but she consistently does her best to make sure me and my group has a good time, whether it’s girls or guys.Sundays are a great time! Open late. Get there early to avoid the line. But definitely ask for Chantel as your waitress/bartender.
