I first discovered Delightful Pastries at the Division and Clark farmer's market. I had an almond croissant (unfortunately, my impatience didn't allow for a photo op). Delightfully flaky with a creamy filling. I also got a pistachio latte and a pumpkin bar. The coffee is a pleasant roast and the pistachio adds a light, sweet flavor. The pumpkin bar is moist and bursting with pumpkin flavor! The store is quaint and offers non-baked goods as well.

I was looking for some sweets for a party. I chose DP for the location and the hours were good. I bought multiple pound cakes and some specialty cheese cake loads. The staff was very helpful I was the only one there since it was late in the day. Most of the guest that and my family really like everything I bought, and asked where I purchased it all. I will keep this place in mind for another occasion. Sorry I should have took some pics. Next time.

Wonderful bakery. Everything looked absolutely delicious. We got some paczkis, a chocolate croissant, and the person helping me was kind and gave us a turnover as a courtesy. The goods were amazing and I cannot wait to come back again. Also, very reasonably priced for the great quality. Thank you for the great experience!

I did not go into the store but got them at the farmers market at the Daley Center, i have been getting the same Asparagus, Cacon and Cheese croissant for weeks now and i have been charged a different price each time. From about $6 to $8 today it was $9 for a croissant, i wonder if there is a fixed price for this item but it is unsavory to be paying a different price each time.

A delicious mix of traditional Polish, American, and other European bakes. Catherine, the granddaughter of the bakery’s founder, is so kind! Support neighborhood businesses— we can’t wait to eat everything they make!

I may have written a review already, but after dozens of lovely visits since we moved into the neighborhood a couple of years ago, I felt compelled to write an update!
We love this place. The croissants are my go-to. The chocolate, the Polish ham and Swiss (Take it home and put an egg on it. YUM.), and a new favorite - the pistachio chocolate. They don’t have this one every day, but if they do, GET IT!
Also huge fans of the French plum tart, the pound cakes, and their cherry turnovers. Oh, and the pierogis from the frozen section! I gifted packages of these as Christmas presents this past year and my parents now ask for them for every holiday/birthday.

It was my first time here, and I was asking them if there were low sugar products and they do.
Both ladies in front offered me to try a piece of bread that had no added sugar, and it was great.
I ended up getting a couple of croissants, one almond and one chocolate, and both were delicious, a little more crisp, and they would have been perfect, so maybe I'll get here earlier next time.
I'll try their coffee next time since they do have different flavors.
I was given better service than I expected, I will have to come back on Thursday or Friday to try their low sugar pastry, i forget the name, and I'll update next time.
I'll come back and try other pastries.

Great gluten free bread with lots of seeds, the holiday bread has tons of dried fruit and is so delicious! My kids favorites are the fruit tarts, eclairs and donuts. Great cappuccino. Trilingual service here! 🇵🇱🇲🇽🇩🇪

Stopped by the stand at the farmers market at Daley plaza and picked up 2 donuts and a chocolate croissant. The pasties were fine (although the croissant was a bit bready for my taste) but Holy smokes, they jack up the prices for the market. $7 for a croissant? $5 for a donut? And no price lists to be seen anywhere. Seems a bit excessive, but I guess if the market will bear it....
