I ordered cake for my wife's 50th birthday party. We received so many compliments. The cake was delicious and a work of art. I also had some other desserts from there and they were amazing, too. The staff was also very nice. We highly recommend Delightful Pastries.
Such a cute spot with a great variety of pastries - Macaroons to cookies to croissants to quiche to soups! Everything we got was great. They also have a selection of local teas, jams, honey, and pre-packaged cookie trays. Prices were reasonable, service was great. Went on a Saturday at 10 am. No line, easy street parking. Will definitely we back!
I recommend this place to people constantly. Some of the very best pączki I've had in Chicago. In a perfect world, I would start each day by eating one of their ham and cheese croissants. If pecan bars are your thing, those are another current favorite. Lots of other great options on Polish goods, both fresh and frozen. Beware that they're closed on Sundays though, so stock up on anything you might want the day before.
