Absolutely phenomenal. I’ve eaten at several Ethiopian restaurants across the county, and Demera rose straight to the top of that category. Every single dish was bursting with flavor. We enjoyed the messob platter (4 meats, 4 vegetables) among 4 people that surely could have served 5. 10/10. We also enjoyed the ye-asa tibs (whole fish), lega tibs (lamb), and sambussa sampler. Every time I go to Demera I'm delighted. The food surpasses anything else in the neighborhood. I always sample as much as I can, but the chicken, goat, and lentils always stand out.

Please order the creme brûlée. It’s so amazing and I can’t stop thinking about it. It was the perfect blend of sweet, salty, and spicy. The texture was also perfect. We wanted to order beef but they didn’t have it so they kindly offered to make a lamb dish not spicy. The food was made incredibly fast, especially for a substitution. Our server was very kind and helpful in answering all our questions. I love that there’s plenty of seating and nice outdoor seating, too.
