A true gem in Little Italy. Went here for brunch on Sunday around 11 am and got seated immediately. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. I will be telling everyone to check out this spot.

It was bad food and bad service. The turkey sausage was god awful, the bacon was soggy, the “specialty” coffee was mediocre, and the potatoes were burnt. We were one of 3 tables there and it took forever to get served, they gave us the wrong cheese, and forgot our toast. Had never been here before and certainly won’t be back.

visiting chicago all the way from cincinnati ohio and this place was by far my favorite in the city! i truly wish we had a café this lovely in my city. french toast, breakfast burrito and cappuccino was top tier. a nice gentleman also helped accommodate my boyfriend that isn’t a huge coffee drinker, recommended a drink and my boyfriend loved it! staff was amazing, wish i could come in everyday. atmosphere was very comfortable. definitely recommend!

Miserable experience, went here because they said they had soy options. Me and my girlfriend were misgendered and berated by staff member. Location was hosting an event for the Chicago Police Department at the time too, very unpleasant. Coffee was mid and didn’t have soy. Decor was good if it wasn’t crammed full of 4-0.
Beautiful spot and service. Jim’s the man, super hospitable. Will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our coffees at the Demitasse Cafe. Nice, relaxed atmosphere and a warm welcome with exceptionally friendly service. It’s definitely a spot we’d visit again for a relaxed coffee break.

The eggs were the runniest eggs I've seen in my life and the potatoes were dry and seemed old. It seemed as though approximately 50% of what we asked the guy who served us for went in one ear and out the other, but thankfully there was a woman working who was able to pick up his slack. The guy was a truly terrible server, I have never seen anything like it.
The only reason I've given 3 stars is because of the woman that was working, and the coffee, which is actually really good.
