The food was absolutely delicious and the server/owner was so kind! She gave us extra injera and free tea at the end of our meal.

Nothing to shout about. Then lamb had an undercooked piece, and quite bland. The chicken is better. Had better elsewhere.

Absolutely delicious food and the literal best coffee you’ll ever have in your life. Make sure to order the coffee early as they roast the beans in a pot and it comes out later in beautiful presentation.
Low key and quiet atmosphere, prices are very fair. Been going to this place for years, such a gem!

Good service, really good food. The flavors can be really intense, even if it might look bland. The injera is made with fermented pancake batter so it's a little sour. If you order injera with your food, everything will have a slightly sour taste to it. The regular bread is just a couple of small loaves that are freshly baked so they are super soft on the inside, but they are really hot when served. The Denden wine is pretty sweet as it's a honey wine. There is no AC so it was a little warm when we went in July.

My wife and I are new to East African cuisine, though we're quickly warming up to it! We both got spicy beef dishes and love the spongey teff bread it's served with. The gravies were a bit salty but quite delicious!
I also ordered what I believe was homemade honey wine - low alcohol and quite refreshing, would recommend.
