Solid spot tucked inside the Canopy by Hilton. Grabbed the Depot 226 Burger, juicy Angus beef with caramelized onions and Fontina, plus a side of fries. Set me back about $18. Depot 226 is a gem in the heart of the Loop! The vibe is upscale yet cozy, perfect for a night out or a special dinner. I went for the grilled octopus ($18) to start, followed by the pan-seared salmon ($24)—both were on point. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could tell the ingredients were top quality. Paul, my bartender and server was amazing, he served me the Pullman Bees Knees-fantastic! With a crowded bar, I sat window side and Paul went out of is way to check on me and help me order food to go.
