I went with my partner a couple of times. The food wasn’t bad, but on the last visit, I noticed from the receipt that they had charged a higher price on drinks than is listed on the menu. If I wouldn’t have checked the receipt I would never have caught the difference, and I’m sure there are countless customers who haven’t noticed and been overcharged. I won’t be returning.

Fries were fairly soggy. Italian beef was literally just beef with softened green peppers layed out in a line on top. Not superb Chicago Street food.

The double kickass burger is a great, juicy, economical choice. The grilled onions and green hatch chilis melt in your mouth. Paired with cheese fries, you can't really get a better value for around $14. I always come back here when I'm in Wicker Park.

Me partner and I were in chicago and I made it known that I really want to have a Chicago style hot dog while we were there. He googled some options and this location was close to us.
Hands down the best Chicago style hot dog I have ever had. My partner got the chili dog and we shared a shake. We already know the next time we are in chicago, we will be coming back and I can't recommend this place enough. Good prices and good food. We walked to a near by park to eat and it was just such an overall great experience.

Its not bad but it is not special! It is just a very regular hotdog you can get from any hotdog stand! I dont understand why it got famous
Portillos is MUCH better!
