The menu has changed but hasn't been changed on the internet. Chef Danny was able to accommodate our special order! Food was good and served piping hot! Annie was a wonderful server. We'll be back!

All other reviews for this place were very good, so we decided to try it for an anniversary occasion. This place looks more of a diner than a restaurant. There is no ambience to the place and the food wasn't anything special - we had Hawaiian ahi and crab cakes, which were supposed to be very good, according to our waiter. The food was bland and lacked presentation. The crispy brussel sprouts were too oily and not crispy at all. Very dissappointed, will not visit again.

We always try to support local businesses and booked a reservation based on the reviews we saw. However, we were really disappointed. The D.R. Was almost empty and that should have been our first clue. 1. Service -Fair - not particularly friendly and could use more trining. It wasn't busy and we had to look for him a few times. 2. Ambiance - terrible but at least it was quiet so you could converse. However, it was very clean. 3. Food - The Branzino was frozen, not fresh and overcooked and very dry. Salmon was ok. However portion size was generous. The meal could use more seasoning (not more salt)though. We gave it a poor rating because the entry was very poorly lit. Our elderly friend couldn't see one of the steps and took a fall nasty fall onto the sidewalk. As we all tried to help her, I noticed The waiter outside saw what happened and didn't even stop and ask is she was ok. He looked away. It still upsets me to think about that.

We wanted to like this restaurant given it's proximity to the movie theater. Unfortunately they are significantly understaffed and the food was so-so at best. Husband's fish was blah and served alone on the plate. Won't be going back.

The Diamond Hook is SO good! There's definitely a reason why they have 5 stars. A newer restaurant with amazing seafood and cocktails. Service was so nice and friendly. It is beautiful inside. They also have outdoor seating. They have happy hour and brunch as well!

Amazing seafood, great setting and a cute patio, right next to the movie theater! The crab cake app was delicious, the lobster bisque amazing, the sea bass melts in your mouth. Key lime pie and tres leches are as special as the main dishes definitely a must at the end!

I would definitely go here again, but like most restaurants it was understaffed. We didn't get asked if we wanted another drink, but did get refills of water. Service was lacking for sure. But the food was really good. The charred Octopus appetizer I would of ordered another. We also had the brussel sprouts, very nicely done. My wifes Ahi Tuna dish was brown, but it tasted fine, not sure why it wasn't bright red, but i read later on that it can be brown. I had the seafood platter and old fashioned. Restaurant was a bit loud, but we were next to some loud guest, but it was fine and not a big deal. Very nice dinner.

The food and service is fantastic. The ambience is lacking. The restaurant is so brightly lit you could perform an operation there. The paper signs in the window cheapen the place as does the neon sign that says open Dim the lights and put some candles/votives onthe tables The ambience deters me from going. But I LOVE the food.

Diamond Hook was a SUPERB experience. I have been wanting to visit Diamond Hook for a while now and our experience was amazing. We had the lobster rolls, brussel sprouts, and the catch of the day which was a halibut. Foods and drinks taste good. Pedro, our server, was FANTASTIC. He was attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Overall, I would recommend Diamond Hook to those who are seafood lovers! They also have non seafood options. Enjoy!

It’s new with a few kinks to work out.The food is good but average.Service good and very friendly. Presentation ordinary.Went for lunch and ended up with a bill of almost $150.00.Menu pricing not for the faint hearted.Thats lunch for two.Parking metered on street difficult.Pricey garage across the street.Nondescript location. The interior decor is clean ,new ,contemporary and intimate.I liked it but not well enough to return.

The food and service were wonderful here. We got the crab cake, which was delicious. They brought us an app that only on the happy hour menu and it was also so fresh and flavorful. Also loved our main courses, branzino and ahi tuna. I will definitely be back! My only request is they install light dimmers for dinner time, it would help the atmosphere.

We love this restaurant and the staff- always a fantastic meal. It is definitely a brightly lit place but they always dim the lights when asked. The food is absolutely top notch and I've never had a special that was less than superb. Even the meat dishes are perfectly prepared and of the highest quality so don't worry if you aren't a pescatarian!

Unassuming place that's kind of a hidden gem. You walk in and it looks like you're in someone's house, but in a good way. The service was great as our waiter was very attentive. The food and drinks we had were all really good as well. Loved just about everything this place has to offer. Street parking was readily available as well with the option to park in the garage across the street. I ended up getting their famous fried chicken and it was amazing! So crunchy & so delicious that we asked them how they prepared it. They said they season it first then do a little frying, but finish it off in the oven for that crisp perfection. The portion was huge as well! I think it was basically two chicken breasts, a thigh, a drumstick, & a wing on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes that also had amazing flavor! Definitely will be back for more next time! Everyone else in our party pretty much ordered their seafood dishes and they were all delicious as well! You really couldn't go wrong with anything you ordered here. My sister even asked them to make a spicy margarita that wasn't on their menu & they did it for her! She said it was quite tasty too! All three desserts we tried were all yummy & my Mom (who was celebrating her Birthday) had a nice Birthday treat brought out for her to enjoy! I don't think we ordered one item we didn't like! Seriously, not one item & we ordered a lot! Even the table next to us that just ordered their sandwiches as their entrees seemed to enjoy everything! This is definitely a place everyone should try at least once! Kind of hard to get to right now with the construction of the bridge on Webster closing that side of the street, but this spot is worth the detour around to get there! I highly recommend this restaurant and the prices were very reasonable for the portions that we got! Excellent place all around! Well done & kudos to the staff here!
