varied menu and nice venue with lively atmosphere - good vibe and great for any time of day to dine at bar or table and/or outdoors when appropriate
I liked the DJ Room. The food was fresh and the portions were a good size. I liked the laid back vibe and wide windows for natural sunlight. If you are looking for a inexpensive neighborhood spot - this is it.
We came for restaurant week and had that menu. While I'm sure their menu at large probably has some great options, the food on the restaurant week menu lacked tremendously-at least for us. The food was bland and for an introduction to restaurant, this was not the lasting impression we wanted. The freezer martini was great and perfectly sized, the french onion soup and pasta lacked flavor. The server was great and friendly and parking in the area was easy
Awful experience. I had a confirmed reservation for 6 people on a Monday night. It then appears that DJ's updated its opening hours so that it was closed on Mondays. There was no automatic update to my reservation, nor did anyone at DJ's let me know that my reservation could not be honoured. We therefore turned up as a group to find the restaurant closed and were forced to make alternate plans out in the cold. A truly awful customer experience and the fact they cannot even do the most basic task of informing guests with an existing reservation is extremely telling. AVOID.
I took a friend to DJ's for her bday during restaurant week. Parking was plentiful even with the recent snow. The restaurant honored my seating request. The restaurant week menu was very good so we both ordered that. The prime rib was very good - very tender. I was just surprised that they would not serve it cooked medium rare but it was still tasty cooked medium. The chocolate dessert was decadent !!! The server was just delightful - attentive and sweet. Even the nouse level was good. It was a great experience and I'd go back to try the regular menu!
My girlfriend and I went for Restaurant Week. The bill was quite expensive for what we actually got. For, $200+ I would have rather had the option to choose from the whole menu. The prime rib was very fatty and not very edible because of that. However, the banana pudding desert and the vodka sauce pasta were fantastic! Also, although the place was very busy, the service was quite slow (20+ mins to get drinks). We'd go again and choose other menu items - as for Restaurant Week, the value just isn't there.
Will come back in the summer. The night we went the HVAC was out so the entire restaurant dined with their jackets and hats on, which isnt ideal. The food and service were excellent.
Had a reservation for 7:30 on a Friday, was not seated until 25 minutes later but the other reservations who arrived after us (a two top) were all getting seated before us which was confusing and frustrating, leaving us to start the meal with a bad taste in our mouths. The complementary bread was dry, would not recommend. Dinner entrees came out quickly, before our cocktails which was a little odd. Cocktails were okay, food was good (truffle fries and vodka pasta). Ambiance was nice and our server was kind and attentive. Won't be rushing back any time soon but will give it another chance.
Cool space. Food quality doesn't match the vibe, and it might be overpriced for what you get.
We absolutely love DJ's - whether it's weekend brunch, dinner with friends or just a late night skillet cookie, they deliver great food and personable staff. Highly recommend to anyone in the neighborhood!

We went for breakfast, the food was excellent and the setting perfect for a relaxing Sunday morning.
Wow wow wow. Does it get better than this place. Great server (Casey was a doll) and great atmosphere. Food was great at the restaurant and for leftovers!

One of the best waitresses I’ve ever had in my life! Casey made our experience so so special and memorable. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were delish. Casey, consider me sold on DJ’s Great Room!
