Just swung by Doña Tola on Southport and dropped about $50 for two. Split the steak tacos, enchiladas, plus churros with spicy chocolate sauce and a margarita. Food’s legit—flavors pop and portions are generous—though the pico tasted like it was prepped a bit early. Cozy vibes, friendly staff, chill patio. Solid date-night spot—just a hair pricy.

I thought this place was pretty good, I was suggested it by a coworker. I was a little disappointed at the presentation of the guacamole. It came out on a small flat plate with chips on the same plate. That was a bad first impression. But after that had a pitcher of margaritas which were strong but tasted good they had the right balance. Also had the steak enchiladas and steak fajitas. The food was really good including the guac. We were sat at a small table and barely had room for all our items but ultimately the food was good which is the most important thing.
I'd come back, but plan to get a bigger table next time.

Food, cocktails & service are all great! Highly recommend the jumbo margarita and tacos al pastor! The tamarind Negroni was also very good.

Fantastic Mexican food, and even as a meat eater the veggie enchiladas are really good. Haven’t had a bad meal here
Pretty restaurant with solid food. Margaritas were amazing! Guac was above average. Tacos were good. Churros were great and came with yummy chocolate dipping sauce- but small portions - so if there are more than two of you, order multiple servings. It’s a small space but they take reservations. They also have a limited kid’s menu.

Booked reservations to this place for friend’s birthday about 2 weeks in advance. Only options given were 6:30pm or 8pm so chose 8pm-totally fine with that initially. We show up to the restaurant for our reservation and the restaurant is closed. This was extremely misleading because it says open until 10pm on both google and on the door of the restaurant. We stood there in the cold on my friend’s birthday with no other plan and it already being 8pm. There also happened to be others standing outside with reservations as well. This is really messed up to allow reservations and say you are open and then have us show up for a birthday dinner to find it closed. We were really looking forward to this place and are extremely disappointed. Will not be back to a place like this.
We had dinner here last night and it was terrific. We started with the guacamole, elote, and a pitcher of the margaritas. The guacamole and elote tasted so fresh and flavorful. We absolutely loved the margaritas. They were perfect; not too sweet, didn't taste like they came from some sugary premade mix, and there's plenty in the pitcher for a party of four. I had the enchiladas for dinner and they were delicious. The interior of the restaurant is a vibe. The servers were super friendly and welcoming too. It's nice to find a solid Mexican restaurant in the area. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Worst service I’ve experienced in a while. It was a beautiful evening so I ordered a margarita on the patio. Once the waitress brought my drink, I never saw her again even though there was only 1 other table in the entire restaurant. After 20 minutes of sitting with an empty glass, I went inside to get the check myself. Will not return.

Food and drinks equal to a fancy spot in Tulum. Great service, too.
Beautiful restaurant. Food was great. Ordered the steak tacos and they were excellent. Guac was fresh and the margarita was perfect. They also had amazing service.
Parking: The majority of the area was permit only parking but I was able to get street parking. Metered.

Went on a Saturday night and the food was delicious. I had the empanadas to start with goat and cheese. Great crunch on the empanada but not hard or greasy. Had the braised pork with salsa verde and cactus. Came with rice and beans and tortillas and it was so so good. Not overly spicy and a lot of good flavor. Drinks were good and service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

Checked this out due to the high reviews. Cute place, but service is very slow. Food is ok. Not really worth the high prices.
